He grinned and placed it in her mouth, laughing at this point. He licked the extra queso off his fingers before getting another chip and scooping some of it up. He then placed it in his own mouth, eating it. He was still smiling, just watching her. There was happiness and amusement in his eyes. He couldn't remember how long it had been since he could just relax and have fun like this. Not that his sister wasn't fun to be around, but this was a different kind of fun... It was about then that he realized that he didn't just see Rox as a friend. And surpisingly, the thought didn't shock him or scare him. It actually somewhat... comforted him. "So shall we move on to the main dish, or do you want to finish off the queso?" He grinned.

Roxie leaned forward a little more, closing her mouth and trying not to bite his finger, although she felt her top lip gently brush against it. Chewing, she let out a little, muffled laugh.
She, truthfully, was having a lot of fun, too. Her blue eyes met his, and there was something in his that she wasn't used to. He looked... genuinely happy to be sitting next to her and eating chips. She'd never seen it before.
"Er... I don't mind." She grinned. "What do you want to do? I like this, but I'm curious to taste the main part of your delicious cooking! What's the main dish, again?"

He grinned and said,"Well, it's called Fettucine Alfredo... It's an Italian dish. Basically, it's noodles in Alfredo sauce. Very tasty, if I do say so myself..." He pulled it out, removing the lid. He slid out two plates and forks. He looked at her and said,"Here. Try some..." He placed the fork in the dish, twirling it so it wrapped around the fork, and moved it towards her mouth. He was smiling, hoping she would like it. If not, there was always the brownies and ice cream...

Roxie nodded thoughtfully, "Mm, sounds good. I've always liked Italian food." She reached out and took the fork with one hand, saying, "Now, now, we can't have you feeding me like a baby, can we?" She grinned. "Unless you want to, of course." Then she tasted the food. "Ooh, I like it, it's lovely..."

He laughed and said,"I'm glad you like it..." He dished out some pasta onto the two plates, passing one to her and grabbing a fork for himself. He twirled some around the fork and ate the bite, laughing after swallowing the bite. One had flipped up and hit his chin as he had tried to pull it into his mouth. He licked the sauce from his lips, wiping it from his chin, and grinned at her. "Would you like something to drink?" he asked. He pulled out the pitcher of lemonade and the pitcher of water, grabbing two glasses as well. He waited, looking at her expectantly.

"I'm glad that I like it, too, or else I would be a very hungry girl." Roxie smiled. She took the plate and had some more too, enjoying the taste of it very much. "Could I have some water, please?" she asked after swallowing.

He smiled and said,"Of course." He poured her a glass of water and passed it to her, pouring himself some lemonade. He took a sip, returning to his plate. He ate a few more bites before taking another sip and saying,"So what classes are you signed up for?" He took another bite as he waited patiently, looking up at her as he chewed and swallowed.

"Thanks." She smiled, taking the glass and gulping at it. Phew. She hadn't had a drink all morning. She placed the glass down, having some more of her meal. "Classes... All of them! Well, all that have pinned up sign-up sheets, at least. Most in advanced," she flushed slightly. "Apart from Transfiguration. I'm not so great at that."

He smiled and said,"Ah, don't worry. I'm not great in every subject. I'm pretty terrible in History of Magic. I barely managed to stay awake and take notes." He grinned and said,"I usually end up thinking about the ways I could better spend my time, which usually ends up with me walking Max or hanging out with my sister. Of course, friends were great, too..." He smiled, taking another bite. He didn't mention the whole ex-girlfriend thing. That was a rather touchy subject, and one he usually didn't tell anyone about. He had finished off his pasta by now, and he sipped from his lemonade. As he set it down, he looked up at her and smiled. "When you're finished, there's brownies and ice cream." He grinned and said,"Faith talked me into it, though it didn't take much..."

"Hmm..." Roxie said thoughtfully. "Everybody says that." She grinned. "Hey, even I do. I hate Divination, too. Crap..." She took another bite. "Brownies? Really? Wow, I love them! With... chocolate sauce... You know, from one of those mini chocolate fountains you can buy in Honeydukes." She finished her own pasta, and lay back on the blanket, staring up at the clouds slowly drifting by.

He smiled and pulled out the brownies and ice cream. He put a brownie in a bowl for her and one in another for him. He looked up at her suddenly, having pulled out the chocolate sauce. His green eyes saw her laying down, and he smiled. "Would you like ice cream, ice cream and sauce, or just sauce?"

"Hmm... Let's think..." Roxie laughed, not looking up. "I think I may have ice cream and sauce, please. What can I say? I'm greedy."

He laughed and said,"Okay. Coming right up!" He scooped out ice cream and plopped it into the bowl, scooping up a couple more. They weren't huge scoops, but it was enough ice cream. He then drizzled sauce over it and asked with a smile,"Whipped cream? Cherry?" He was grinning, scooping out his own ice cream. He drizzled sauce over it and squirted some whipped cream. He looked up at her, waiting with a grin.
