Gabby smiled at Adam, laughing a little. He was a nice boy, and he seemed to be showing his true colours now. She looked back up at the sky and a rain drop fell on her cheek. Gabby wiped it away, and some others came down. Ah, the rain. She didn't know why, but she loved the rain; Gabby would be happy to stay outside.
"I'm fine." Gabby assured him, giving him a bright smile. The rain seemed to have cheered her up, which was quite odd, but still, it had. "Now tell me about your other problems, well, if you want. As I said before, it helps to tell people rather than kee problems to yourself." Gabriella smiled again, putting a hand on the bench. It was quite wet already, and cold. It felt a little slimy, but she liked it.

"That's good." Adam sighed, rolling his eyes. The shadow of a smile was on his lips though, and he shook his head, replying, "You sound like an Agony Aunt, or something. I'm not in therapy..." He shook his head again, smiling. "I wouldn't want to bore you, anyway; most of it's just me being a jerk and getting punched or smacked for it." Strange as that sounded, it was quite true.
He didn't think he would tell her, though. She'd dislike him for it, which was never good, and anyway, she seemed to have accomplished something; he was talking and smiling again. He'd be making lame jokes and talking about Quidditch, next, and probably making her wish she hadn't cheered him up so.

"What? I do not sound like an Agony Aunt." She hit his arm playfully, a broad smile on her face. Yes, she liked this boy... Adam. Gabby piched her side, relived that she could feel it as that meant it wasn't a dream.
"Ouch. Seems like you're getting hit quite a lot right now." Gabby didn't think any less of him for that, it wasn't his fault. Well, it probably was, but she wouldn't believe it.
"Well anyway, I have a question for you. What would you do if you liked someone but they didn't know you liked them and probably didn't like you back anyway? 'Cause my friend asked me that, but I couldn't answer, so I needed to ask someone else so I could answer." Wow. Impressive lie. Not.

"Well... Er, you do. But not in a bad wa- Ow!" He rubbed his arm, scowling playfully. "I am getting hit a lot right now. Like, from you!" He stared at her, trying to look fierce but failing. It's not only that he was pretending anyway, but.... he wasn't a fierce person.
"Shoot," Adam said in response to her asking him if she could ask him a question. He had to laugh at the next thing she said. He wasn't the smartest, but come on... even he thought something was up with that. "Liar." He grinned, deciding to answer her question anyway.
"If I had the same problem as you- I mean, your friend, I'd probably... well. I'd freak out, and keep it silent forever." He paused. "But I suppose that's not the answer you're looking for, so I'd also tell you not to listen to me, because I'm stupid. And afraid of everything apart from Quidditch magazines. So, in conclusion... do the opposite as me." He nodded finally. "Which would be... not freak out, and not keep it silent forever."
And then he shrugged, eventually silent once more.

"Aww. You're so sweet." She laughed, ruffling his hair. "And you're not very good at looking... 'fierce'." Gabby laughed again, removing her hand from his hair, placing it on her thigh.
"I'm not a liar. It could very well be my friend with the problem. In fact, it is. She's called... um.. Abbie. Yes. Abbie... Blackworth." She smiled proudly, then realised the name Abbie Blackworth was complete crap. Gabby had never been great at thinking off the top of her head.
"Yes, my friend." She told Adam as he spoke, smiling lightly. When the boy finished she looked quite confused, but she had taken in most of what he said.
"You're not buying the whole 'friend' thing, are you?" Gabby didn't even give him time to answer, as her lips were already on his. But only for a few seconds; he might hate her.

"I am," he replied, not hesitating in looking pleased. It seemed that any bad mood from earlier had simply vanished. The happy, colorful, exciting girl in front of him was probably the cause of that.
"You are a liar, Miss Gabriella, and you know it. Abbie Blackworth?" He raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah, well done. Where's she from? Made-Up-Ville?" His Irish accent seemed to thicken with sarcasm, and he leaned back slightly, arms crossed disbelievingly.
At the painfully obvious last thing she said, he laughed and prepared to reply, but couldn't. Mostly because of someone's lips against his preventing them from opening. Hang on... someone's lips?! But the brief kiss was over quickly, and Adam stared at her, still speechless. "Ahem. Yeah. Ahem. Now I'm definitely not buying the 'friend' thing," he said finally, the shocked look replaced by one with a small smile.

She smiled at him. The boy was sweet. He had a cute little smile, and sweet boys were normally always handsome, and handsome Adam was.
"Are you psychic? I never thought anyone would be able to know that." She smiled, moving a little closer to Adam, putting her feet on the ground. He had a good sense of humour, and she liked him.. a lot. Funny, she had only known him for about twenty minutes. [You know it took me a long time to think of the name Abbie Blackworth. >.>]
Abbie laughed at this, placing her right hand on Adam's thigh. She moved her head a little closer to his, hoping he would take the hint. And if not... then she would go up to her room and sulk for the rest of the week.

"I'm not psychic, I'm just smart," Adam said, grinning and watching her move closer. It was good, being away from Alex. If Alex had been there... Adam would have had no chance. He would have been labeled the gorgeous guy's 'funny, sweet best mate', and left at that. That's how it had almost always been, and you know what? It was good to have things different for once.
Luckily for her, the hand on his thigh made the penny drop; that, and the fact that her head was pretty close to his, eyes trained on his own. She wanted him to kiss her? Did she? Well, it was time to see. So, yes, he kissed her. She had kissed him first, after all. It was only fair. Plus, they couldn't have her sulking, could they?
{LAME. I'M SO LAME.}

"Smart? Really, Mr. Adam, I thought it was against school rules to lie to people, especially prefects." Gabby smiled, moving even closer to the boy, and then, finally, he pressed his lips to hers.
She smiled as he did so, closing her eyes and hoping it would last longer than ther one she had given him. Gabby ran a hand through his hair, his gorgeous hair, smiling and opening her lips a little. Kissing in the rain? That was /so/ movie theatre.

"It is... But, baby; I don't lie." It was all Adam managed to say before he was kissing her again. His hands slipped around her waist, where they usually went whenever he kissed a girl.
He had originally decided to keep the kiss going longer, but then the things he had been thinking about in such a depressed fashion when Gabby first met him popped back into his head. Aimee and Charlie. Oh crap; what was he doing? Was he just messing this girl about, too? Pulling away, Adam murmured, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't do this..."
He couldn't believe that he'd done this. There he was, trying to get out of a mess that included girls, and he had got involved with another in less than an hour? This was bad...

Gabby smiled at this, toying with the ends of Adam's hair. Yes, he was definately very sweet. Gabby moved her hands to his back, pressing her finger tips into it gently, drawing circles.
Yes, Adam was a very good kisser, very good indeed. She's wasn't surprised that this girl had kissed him, and she must've enjoyed every minutes of it.
As Adam broke the kiss, telling her he shouldn't be kissing Gabby, a pout formed on her lips, and she folded her arms. "Fine, then." She muttered, turning away, fiddling with the ends of her hair. Damn. Now she had lost and extremely cute boy. Oh well, there was always more where that came from.

Adam very much doubted that any girls he had kissed lately - apart from, obviously, Gabriella - had enjoyed it that much. Mostly, they had hated him more for it. Funny, that, eh?
As Gabby turned away and muttered something that Adam barely heard, Adam frowned, and laid a hand on the girl's arm, feeling pretty bad. "I'm sorry..." he murmured. "I just don't want to hurt you, because... I know I will. I'm stupid, and I'll mess things up and cause a whole load of crap. And not only for me, but for you, too."

Gabby's arm seemed to tingle with Adam's touch, and she shivered a little in the cold, hoping Adam didn't notice as she wanted to stay out here with him. She turned toward him, but kept her arms folded and her head down.
"You won't hurt me..." Gabby told him, looking up at Adam. "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me." She offered, inching closer to him so that her right thigh was touching his.
Gabby looked straight up into his eyes. "But if you're not interested, I suppose I should go back up to my dorm."
