Jon had helped Roxie up to the common room, and he started towards the chairs, hoping she was going to let him help her to one. He made a motion as if to try and let her sit down, then he sat down in the chair beside the one he hoped she would sit in. They were nice, comfy arm chairs.
He looked around the common room, just enjoying the peace in here. Fina was a quiet house, and he was perfectly fine with that. It was better that way. He wasn't really a loud guy, and for that, he was grateful. He looked over at Roxie, wondering what they were going to talk about now.

Roxie grinned as he helped pull her over to a chair, and, clinging to his neck, swung herself into the one he motioned at with a giggle. She sank into the soft material, swinging a leg over one arm. She had an excuse for that.
Roxie quite knew what he meant by the peace; Fina was a peaceful sort of house. She had no idea how she got in it.
"I hardly ever come in here..." she said, looking around at the room. "Just to come through to get to my room, of course. I have a room by myself... Have you met any people yet? Like, that you put as your room-mate?"

He grinned at her giggling, noting her position in the chair.
"Actually, I haven't met anyone besides you and my sister. I don't know anyone else, so I definitely don't have a room mate right now... What about you?"

"I... have a few girly friends," Roxie said, thinking back to the hospital, and how they all scattered pretty fast. "But, I dunno. We don't talk, really. Just giggle. It's not like you and me. We've just met, but we talk, not just mess around." She smiled. "I like that. It's better."

He smiled and said,"Yeah, talking's better..." He looked at her and said,"I can't really say I have a lot of friends anywhere, much less here, but at least I can add one to that list." He smiled.

"How can you not have many friends? You're great! You're the sweetest, most kind guy I've met here. You helped me. My own 'friends' didn't even do that!" She smiled back and cooed with a laugh, "Of course you can put me on your friend list!"

He smiled and said,"I dunno. I guess I just didn't really fit in there... But I like it better here... And thanks." There was a light blush coloring his cheeks at her compliments. He wasn't so used to those... "That's good to know. I was hoping you wouldn't mind that." He grinned at her.

"That's okay," she said quietly, smiling. She noted his flushed cheeks. That was cute. He was a blusher. "Mind you helping me? Or the friend list? Either, I don't mind." She smiled again.

He smiled and said,"Good." He looked around the room, seeing it empty. This was pretty nice. He looked back at her. "So are you popular here, Roxie?" Hey, he needed to know if his friend was always surrounded by people, right?

"What do you think?" she asked, grinning mischievously. "No, I'm decently popular. But not overly so. Why?" She tipped her head to one side curiously.

He laughed and said,"I was just curious." He grinned and said,"I need to know if I'm going to hang out with you. I mean, I don't want to be surprised if a random mob of people swarm around you, now do I?"

"I'll hang out with you whenever you want," the sixteen year old assured him with a smile.
{Sorry, short, gotsa go!}

He grinned and said,"That's good to know. At least I won't be lonely when my little sister gets her own friends." He smiled.
