Parents had been childhood friends and then eventually lovers. For generations the Laurier and Lurange(Mothers family) had been rather nasty and malicious people all pureblood and kept in what they like to call pristine condition. His parents had become Death Eaters upon graduating from their schools and soon even had three children. Elliott was their first child, and expected to carry on the familys name, fortune and business with pride. However, as soon as the age of 3 both parents knew that was not what Elliott was destined for. He was different, he liked frilly things and pretty colours, he was nice to everything and never asked for anything. His mother was distraught to find that he didn't have a malicious or mean bone in his body. Soon Elly's parents began to focus on their second son Forcyth and left Elliott on his own to do what he pleased.
Elliott had pretty much been cast aside from his family at a young age, and had led quite the lonely life. Neither his sister nor brother wanted anything to do with him. Mother and father were too busy, and Elliott could see the disgust and disdain in their eyes and voices when they did speak with him. So, left alone with his own devices and proud to say dolls Elly made his own little world in his room. At the age of 11, a letter came to invite him to attend Durmstrang as a student. There was no choice about it, Elly was shipped off to the all boys school. There he found that he wasn't even that great at doing spells, nor even simple things like mathematics. He however exceeded in creative writing and arts; something that wasn't all that usefull in the wizarding world.
As he grew older, the tales of Voldemort coming back started twisting through the schools. Sure enough, Elliott was one of the first kids to know. He began to see his parents leave the house with their skull like masks, not returning till late at night. Elly was afraid to tell anyone at school, and so kept it to himself. They left Durmstrang in one final plea of safety fled to Beauxbaton; bringing Elliott, and his brother along too. Now Elliott feels torn between what his family wants him to do, and what he feels is right.
Personality:
A bubbly rambunctious boy, Elly would love to have a chit chat with someone any day. He tends to more often make friends then enemies because of his laid back personality. Trying to get him fired up is really hard to do because he usually just boy giggles and maybe flips that very important finger and that would be it. He is really quite kind hearted and would jump to help someone in need. Despite his appearence, he is a social butterfly and wouldn't have it any other way. Elly isn't as smart as the average joe however, he tends to struggle with his work and magic. He tries hard, but usually it takes him much longer then his fellow students to grasp a spell properly. Even though he loves to read and write poetry, it seems that he just can't seem to remember spells that well, nor fuel the power with in him to get them to act properly. He tends to get frustrated with himself more often then with other people.
Usually however, he will ignore Muggle borns. Its because of his parents, and what they expect of him. He is a pureblood, and both his parents are Death eaters, meaning socializing with muggle borns is simply not aloud. Sometimes Elly has a hard time beleiving that he is the spawn of two death eaters as brutal and cold hearted as his parents. Maybe that is why he isn't as close to them as he ought to be.
Appearance:Hair, predominantly black, is styled in the ever so clever and fashionable emo look. The back being very short, while the front bangs nearly reach his chin. Red is streaked throughout the bangs, but the back of his hair is completely noir. Face is semi-long with high cheekbones and gaunt cheeks, but nose is slender till it gets to the end where it is rather buttonish. Eyes are an intrigueing hue of aqua, thanks to the muggle made color contacts, and usually lined thick with kohl and eyeshadow. Sometimes he won't wear any make up, and other days he lays it on in layers; it all really depends on his mood when he wakes up in the morning. Lips are an average size and the bottom lip slightly fuller then the top; a silver lip ring is in the right side of his bottom lip. His teeth are now nicely aligned after having to wear braces for the majority of his childhood, but he supposes its all worth it. His frame is built rather tall and his legs being the longest part of him. He stands at 6'1 ft and wieghs about 140lbs; this pretty much points out that he is rather slender and maybe a little too thin.
When he isn't wearing his uniform, you can find him in tight girl jeans with a variety of belts on all at once. He tends to lean toward pink t-shirts or bright coloured hoodies that stick out from the rest of the kids. His shoes will forever and always be the original Converse with pink and black laces; drawings are doodles all over in different coloured pens from when he is bored. Bright shades of color make up the gelly bracelets that adorn his wrists. Some days he can dress like an average guy, with appropriate fitting slacks and a sweater or t-shirt of some sort, but most of the time he would rather dress outragously just to draw the attention of others.
Other: Elly is allergic to cats, dogs and quite a few other animals that he doesn't even know about yet.
Role-Playing Sample:((This is sort of a past thing for my rp sample...like when he was 7 or 8 just because I am feeling creative))
"Mummy, could I have a puppy?" A little black haired boy tugged at the skirt of his mother. Large blue eyes looking up at her, clearly filled with the awe and admiration of a child. Suddenly he found the air where his mother had just stood empty and he fell forward onto the stone flooring. Hands outstretched as he tried to stop himself from falling on his face. When he looked up, from on the floor where he was sprawled, he found his mother nowhere in sight. Tears were beggining to shine in his eyes, making them seem glassy and transparent. She had apparated on him, yet again.
Elliott Laurier scrambled to his feet, black sneakers making little squeekish noises against the stone as he pushed himself back up. He had a bruise already spreading on his one knee, and the heels of his hands were smarting from the fall. As a tear fell down his cheek, making a streak of wetness on his soft skin, he turned around. Head was held low and down, blue eyes downcast onto the floor. He was heading back to his own little haven, a room in the attic where he made his imaginary world. Wooden stairs creaked under his feet as he climbed up into the darkness, the air dry and hot. His small hand wrapped around the doorknob and he pushed the heavy door open with two hands; silently closing it behind him with an audible click.
Turning around, sunlight came in shafts through a diamond shaped window, falling over the dusty hardwood flooring. His eyes lingered over the room that his old Nanny had transformed for him as a toddler. A highbacked leather armchair sat cosily in a corner beside a bookshelf. A colorful bunch of books lining its volume. In another corner was a large pile of stuffed animals all set in their appropriate spot. If there was one thing Elly didn't like, was when his stuffies weren't in their proper placings. His pink tongue darted out to lick his drying lips, they always got a little chapped when he came up to this dry and hot room. Elly shuffled over to the window, placing his hands on its sill as he stood on tip toe. Blue eyes looked out at the world that he was forbidden to venture in except on Saterdays and Sundays.
The large gardens of the Laurier estate running out far, hedges put into a complex maze that only Elly knew how to get through thanks to his high perched veiwing area. Across from this, were all the pretty flowers you could imagine. From Bluebells to Black eyed susans, they decorated the gardens. Each rose bush trimmed and everything kept orderly by the gardener staff. How Elly wished he could go run through the fragerant courtyards, and play hide and seek in the maze. However, he was forbidden to go outside alone and wasn't aloud those simple joys as a child. He didn't want to tear his eyes away from the heavenly view, but he could hear the cook ringing the bell for lunch.
Having completely forgotten the moment with his mother a few minutes ago, he scooted across the floor to the attic door. As he shot down the stairs, his stomach making gurgling noises in hunger, he had left the door to the attic slightly ajar; light spilling down from it. Little did Elliott know, but that was the last time he would ever spend up there, because someone dwelling in the shadows just down the hall would make sure that Elliott did not get that same joy again.
