Jon had received a message from Roxie telling him to meet her here. This was their second date now, having taken her to a restaurant the day he asked her to be his girlfriend. Just the memory made him smile. The note had said that they would eat later, so he had simply come wearing his blue jeans. His shirt was white, long sleeved, and had a collar. It was buttoned up until the top two buttons, and the bottom two buttons were left undone, revealing the slightest of tanned skin near his neck and waistline.
He wore his same necklace that he always wore, and he had a leather bracelet on his right wrist. It buckled on the bottom. His jeans had a few holes in them, but he preferred them that way. He wore comfortable tennis shoes, and he seated himself on a bench as he waited for her. He allowed his eyes to focus on one of the fountains, and he smiled, listening to the birds chirping and the water splashing. It was very calming, really. He couldn't wait until Roxie arrived. The day could only get better...

She couldn't believe she was doing this, but at the same time, she could. The idea had just come to her one day, a day that Roxie had particularly pissed her off. Scarlet had viciously wanted to stab back at her sister, but couldn't think of anything to do, but then she saw Jon. Jealous thoughts drifted through her head. Why should Roxie get someone like him? How could Roxie get someone like him?
Scarlet was the prettier of the two. She was the darker, dangerous, seductive twin, whereas Roxie was the sweet, fake one. It just didn't make sense that the blonde had got such a gorgeous guy. What did he see in her? She wasn't even that smart. She couldn’t do anything for him. She was useless, in Scarlet’s own angry, annoyed opinion, and Jonathan was a fool to enjoy her company.
This was precisely why Scarlet was here. She had sneakily sent both Jon and Roxie notes to meet in the courtyard. Roxie’s note told her to come an hour and a half later than Jon’s; they couldn’t meet, could they? It was Scarlet’s plan to hurt Roxie, and this was perfect. Just perfect.
The Intermise had dyed her darker hair a light shade of blonde, using a wand, and had swapped her usual, dark make up for hardly any, just a touch of mascara and a tiny bit of pink lip gloss. Her hair was down. It was exactly how Roxie wore it almost every day and Scarlet was sure that Jon would have noticed already. She was also sure that he was going to be a hard person to fool, which was why she had to try her hardest to look exactly like her sister.
She did, however, get Roxie’s clothes wrong. Roxie wasn’t the biggest fan of skirts, especially in winter, and surely would have hid her legs behind some jeans with a nice, thick jumper on her top half. Scarlet knew this, of course, but although she was going to sabotage a couple’s relationship, she was also meeting a hot guy and there was no way she was going in anything short of jaw-droppingly sexy.
The spiteful twin had chosen to wear a dark blue blouse with white polka dots, the top three buttons left undone on her top half. She had a blue, tartan pleated skirt on that was really short, the bottom coming way higher than her knee. A whole lot of long, tanned leg was shown to anyone she passed. Despite wearing black, shiny shoes with heels about three inches high, the girl managed to walk just fine. She didn’t take a jacket.
So here she was, feeling nervous – not to mention cold – and staring into the Courtyard, at the place where she had arranged to meet Jonathan. He was right, she thought, in thinking that the day couldn’t get any better. She was here, in all her leg-showing glory, and would be with him for a whole hour and half, unless Roxie decided to be troublesome and come early.
Taking a deep breath, Scarlet sauntered into the Courtyard, the worried expression on her face melting into a mysterious little smile, and she made her way over to the bench that Jon was sitting on. She slid onto it next to him and crossed her legs, murmuring, “Hey.” Oh, damn. She’d forgotten about her bloody voice. Scarlet’s voice had always been deeper than Roxie’s, and it was pretty obvious. Bugger; she’d just have to distract him from that and make him forget about what he thought was his girlfriend’s miraculous voice change.
To do this, she scooted closer to him on the bench and gave him a kiss, one hand resting on his chest, the other swirling a strand of his hair between her fingers. “Mmm.” Smiling, she pulled away and waiting for him to speak. She couldn’t help looking over her shoulder, just in case Roxie had arrived early; she hadn’t, as it were.
{Lame, but there you go. This was supposed to be the thread with Scarlet, right?}

((Yep. ^^;)
Jon looked up as he heard someone coming, catching sight of a girl. He smiled. It was Roxie, though it seemed a little odd that she was wearing a short skirt -- a very short skirt -- a thin top, and high heels. He wondered if she had simply planned what she was going to wear to the restaurant early, or if she just wanted to look nice for him. He smiled at her as she sat down. Well, it really didn't matter now, did it?
She slid next to him and said hey. He noted that her voice was deeper, but she could be sick or getting over a cold or something. It was that time of year. He hadn't seen her in the past few days, seeing as he'd been running about all day long. Then she kissed him, one hand on his chest and the other twirling his hair. Hmm. That one was new, but he just figured she was relaxing even more into being his girlfriend.
He grinned and said,"Hey, yourself. What've you been up to this past week? I haven't been able to see you at all. The professors have me running around all the time, so it's been difficult for me to find time for anything else. I hope you don't mind. It should settle down after the first lesson..." He smiled at her, brushing his hair out of his eyes. He was considering a hair cut by now, but he figured it might could wait a while. He waited for her reply patiently, his hand coming up to play with the ends of her hair, as usual.

Phew; things were going well. Jon had seemed suspicious to a small degree when she arrived, but at least he wasn’t shoving her away and screaming things about impostors and spies; although, that stuff only seemed to really happen in the movies, didn’t it?
Damn, he was talking. Why didn’t that mouth just close, or stay attached to hers, or something? The second one would have been most preferable, but Scarlet guessed she’d just have to make this thing work somehow. She’d come this far, after all. Just smile, she told herself, Roxie does that a lot.
Smiling, she replied, “Yeah, I’ve been pretty busy too.” She had tried to make her voice a little higher, and although it sounded better than before, she still sounded different from her damn sister. Her stupid sister, with her stupid high voice and smart boyfriend… damn it all to pieces.
When she spoke to reply again, Scarlet coughed a little, thinking that maybe she’d be able to pull off the ‘I’ve almost lost my voice due to a bad cold’ thing, which usually worked pretty well for her. She’d just stop every now and then to cough into her hand slightly, and her voice would be quiet in places.
She had to stop herself from stupidly asking what the professors had had him doing, for she was sure Roxie would have known. Jonathan was good or something, he was… he was… he was Head Boy! That’s it! Smiling – and coughing – Scarlet said in a voice most like Roxie’s that she could get, “Mm, I bet you’ve been rushed off your feet…” Then she patted him gently on the arm. It seemed something that Roxie would do, you know? She had always been sympathetic.
“It’s alright,” she said. “We’ll manage. At least we have today together, right?” That was probably what he thought. He probably thought he would have a fabulous, fun day with his perfect little girlfriend, and then head off with her for a romantic dinner in the evening. How wrong he would be…
{Only a page and a paragraph on Word, damnit. *sniffs and prods her crappy post* And, good. I was worried, for a second, that this was just a date. xDD}

He smiled and said,"Yeah. I can't tell you how many errands I've ran in the past few weeks. And with the first lessons beginning, it's just becoming even more hectic..." He shrugged and said,"But I'm Head Boy, so what can I expect! My only complaint is that I can't spend as much time with you..." He smiled at her.
He began to think about the rest of the evening. The note had said they would just hang out here for a bit, then they would have a dinner later, but he didn't much care whether they had dinner sooner or later. He loved being with Roxie, though today she seemed a bit... off. She was coughing a bit, so he thought it might just be a bad cold or something she was catching or getting over. He hadn't seen her in a few weeks, so he wouldn't know...
He looked back at her and said,"So, have you spoken with Belle or Tina lately? I haven't seen Tina for a while... I saw Belle the other day, but we were both too busy to speak." He waited politely for her answer, his thoughts turning to when he had first asked Roxie out. Man, that had been one amazing day. He'd also officially met Belle and Tina, which had been pretty cool. He took her hand in his, lacing his fingers with hers. It just seemed to fit the moment...
((It's late, and I got a little babbly... Erm. When shall we proceed to thicken this plot? *trying not to give it all away*))

"That busy, huh?" Scarlet said with another little Roxie-laugh. "Oh, you're too sweet..." That last part was basically about the fact that he said he couldn't spend so much time with Roxie. Again, she kissed him on the lips but it was only gentle. Where the hell was Roxie? She'd be late, if she wasn't careful, and that would be just awful.
What he said next troubled Scarlet slightly. Roxie's friends? She didn't know much about them, but at least she recognized Belle's name, after everything that had happened with Adam and Charlie. "Yeah, Belle's always rushing around, being Head Girl I tell her to cool off, but she won't." This was actually true; Scarlet had seen Roxie nag away at Mirabelle before. "She just gets snappy. And she's been strangely obsessed with her clothes and hair recently. Must be being around Tina." Well, Christina seemed to be into fashion from what Scarlet had seen of her, right?
When Jonathan took her hand, Scarlet smiled, and leaned in to kiss him again. Every footstep outside made her jump, but kissing him; yes, kissing him was the answer.
{Soon. Just have him keep on kissing her, and I'll do it in my next post.}

He smiled and said,"Sounds just like her. Belle wouldn't take it easy any more than I would. We both take our positions very seriously..." He brushed his thumb across her hand gently, repeating the movement repeatedly. It seemed rather soothing, really, and it just felt right at the moment. He was just glad to be with her, though something seemed a little off...
"Obsessed with her clothes? Hmm. That doesn't seem like Belle... But maybe it is because Tina's been rubbing off on her." He shrugged lightly and smiled at her, seeing her leaning in to kiss him. He leaned in a little to meet her, pressing his lips to hers gently. He wasn't really wanting to take it too fast. He'd been told he was the sweet gentleman, and he had tried to live up to that.
((Okay, got a little chessy/crappy there at the end... xD But I've finally replied! Whoot! =D NOW BRING HER IN! *listening to Declan Bennett*))

"I know," Scarlet said. "Like I said, she's been acting a little strange nowadays." She shrugged. "I guess me and Tina'll have to talk to her ourselves to see what's up." She smiled. "You know, see if she's okay." She grinned devilishlyas he accepted the kiss, knowing he wouldn't see her expression, and the pattering of happy footsteps nearing the courtyard, coming faster and louder, just made her keep on kissing him.
And the someone appeared into the area where Jon and Scarlet had been sitting. Someone with matching light make up to Scarlet's. Someone with matching blonde curls, her own pulled back and up into a ponytail. Someone wearing jeans and a jumper and clean white trainers. Someone called Roxie. She stopped, and glanced around herself. Jon wasn't here. There was just the benches, the fountains, and a couple kissing gently in a corner.
Hang on a second. That guy looked suspiciously familiar. "J-Jonathan?" Roxie called out questioningly, a look of horror on her face. It was Jon! But why was he kissing this girl? Things got even more confusing as the girl attached to her boyfriend's face turned around. It was Roxie! It was herself! What the hell was going on?
The blonde intruder spoke suddenly, her deep Irish voice ringing bells in Roxie's head. "What the hell are you doing here, Scarlet?" the girl asked spitefully, a nasty grin on her face. And then the penny dropped. This was Scarlet... pretending to be Roxie... saying that Roxie was her... to break her and Jon up. But... why would her sister do that?
She'd never know.
{If you got that, Scarlet is pretending to be Roxie, and saying that Roxie is Scarlet. xDD *is confusing even herself*}

Jonathan looked up at the vocalizing of his name. His eyes lifted to meet the ones of the girl who had uttered his name in such a surprised manner. Shock was evident on his face as he looked between the two. What on earth was going on here?! He looked at "Roxie" and then looked at Roxie, who "Roxie" was calling "Scarlet". Wait. What? He was lost and confused. Utterly confused. He stumbled to his feet, backing away from the "Roxie" on the bench. He ended up between the two, looking between both of them with a dumbfounded look on his face.
"R-Roxie?" He looked at the one standing, looking so surprised. He then looked at the one on the bench with a confused look on his face. Which one was his Roxie? He looked between the two multiple times before he looked at the one on the bench. "Scarlet? Who is Scarlet?" He looked at the one standing. Something about her seemed so familiar. She hadn't worn an outrageous outfit. He took a step towards her, with every second thinking that was his Roxie. He looked back at the other, now seeing the flaws in her act. He looked back at the one standing and asked uncertainly,"Roxie? Is that you?" He tried to think of a way to know for certain.
Then an idea hit him. Only the real Roxie would know the answer to this one... "Only the real Roxie will know the answer to this question... What was the name of the food I cooked for you during our picnic?" He looked at the one standing, expecting an answer from either of them, but he was mostly waiting for the answer from her.
((Done. And yeah, that was a little weird. xP))

When he said, confused, 'Roxie', but girls blurted out, "Yes!" Then both glared irritably at each other. "She's Scarlet!" Scarlet swooped in faster then Roxie could, pretending her best to look as upset and shaken as Jon obviously was.
When he turned to the real Roxie, she said a little desperately, "Yes, I'm me!"
But then he thought of the question, and there was a rather long silence after it. Scarlet was smiling nastily, and Roxie was thinking as hard as she possibly could. After about a minute had passed, Roxie gave an angry cry of frustration. "I don't know!" she cried. "I can't... I can't remember."
And then Scarlet moved forward, off her bench, and closer to Jon. She had paid attention quietly when she'd heard Roxie tell Mirabelle and Christina every detail about her date, and she knew exactly what food he cooked her. "Fettucine Alfredo, I believe it was," Scarlet said smoothly, still smirking.
{What's he gonna do now, eh? ^_-}

She couldn't remember... But he had been so sure she was Roxie. Then the other spoke, and he looked at her. Now, he was certain Roxie wouldn't be acting like that... But he couldn't be sure. He groaned inwardly. This was getting much too complicated for him...
He noticed the other one moving closer, and he stepped away. He couldn't be closer to either until he knew who was who... But what other way was there for him to discover which one was his Roxie? He then spoke just loud enough for them to hear. A few more questions, and if he couldn't figure it out, he was going to get out of here. It was safer that way... "How did we first meet and where? Also, where did we go afterwards?"
((HA! Beat that one. xP))
