Sliding into the garden, Adelle Dario grinned in approval. The flowers were stunningly beautiful, and the Fina could smell their sweet scent as soon as she entered. One large, violently pink flower which was standing, tall and proud by itself in a patch of light blue flowers caught her attention, and she went over to it. She touched it's head and pulled it gently to her nose. The flower didn't smell, but it's beauty made up for it.
Continuing into the place, she found the marble fountain. She walked to it, mesmerized by the trickling water. She perched herself on the marble edge, and lightly trailed her fingers across the water, long nails causing ripples to appear.
Adelle searched in her back pocket, and pulled out a knut. She flung it into the air, eyes closed, where it spun several times before plopping into the water and sinking to the bottom. Her eyes remained closed, and she made a wish.
That wish? Can't be told; for it won't come true.

Le Jardin de la Beaute.
Well, it more than lived up to it's name. Asmodeus sat perched on an old cast iron bench, beneath a vine entangled arch. It was, undoubtedly, his favourite spot in the garden. It was hidden away, for the rather overgrown path to get to it was hard to see (unless you were actually looking for it) even though it began right beside the fountain, the busiest part of the greenhouse paradise. Infact, it was so close, he could actually hear the murmer of the running water. Or at least he though he could.
Asmodeus reached up, and plucked a plain white flower from the tangled trellis above him. It looked so fragile, so pure. Asmodeus smirked as he watched the scented petals scatter onto the flagstones beneath his feet. All was silent for one peaceful moment, until he heard footsteps. They were light - he assumed they were female. After a rustling of foilage, there was silence again, then came a soft plunk as the person dropped something into the water.
Pushing himself quietly to his feet, Asmodeus softly tred back down the short little path, and eventually, the fountain and it's visitor came into view. The smallest of smiles graced his lips. It's was a girl, as he had predicted. Adelle Dario, a fellow Fina, and the year below him. He'd seen her around.
"Hullo," He said pleasantly, with a charming smile, "Came to enjoy the flowers? They're lovely this time of year, arn't they?"

"Hullo." Someone behind her spoke.
Adelle did the typical reaction to being surprised; she jumped out of her skin. Sliding sideways, the fifteen year old girl did her best not to fall into the fountain, flinging out her right arm. She shivered as it plunged into the water, catching the bottom of the pool. Wet as her arm may have been, it had stopped her from flying into the icy water completely.
Pulling her bare arm out, she shook it, and wiped her hand dry on her jeans. Then she turned around slowly, standing up. She flushed as she saw somebody she recognized vaguely; someone from her own house.
Clearing her shocked brain, she replied, "Yeah, they're really pretty." The Fina hoped, in the back of her mind, that he didn't know about her 'throwing a coin in the fountain and making a wish' thing, but what else would she have been throwing in there?
This thought made her blush even more.

Asmodeus merely raised his eyebrows at her near plunge into the water, and the fact she seemed to be fluxuating in colour.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you," He said politely, "I thought you might have wanted some company." Asmodeus extended a hand out to her, to shake, "My name's Asmodeus. Asmodeus de la Ravin. Pleased to meet you."

Well, that was good. He didn't seem to want to laugh at her, and that was definately a plus. At least she wouldn't be turning purple any time soon.
Adelle let out a tinkling laugh herself, and assured him, "It's alright; I just wasn't expecting anybody. But company is good. Yeah." She gave him her hand in return, and said with a pleasant smile, "I'm Adelle. Very pleased to meet you."

Asmodeus nodded, and flashed a Adelle a dashing smile, before swiftly pressing his lips to her knuckles in an entirely gentlemanly manner.
He said nothing about already knowing her name.
"So what brings you here on such a lovely day?" He asked, releasing her hand.

Adelle blinked in surprise at the formal greeting, but it was soon replaced with a smile.
"I was really bored, and I thought, 'where can I go?' I realized that there were loads of places outside that I hadn't visited, and this was one. It's just such a beautiful place... Why did you decide to pay this place a visit?"{Bleh. }

"I like the flowers, I like the peace. Reminds me so of my darling Mama's beautiful gardens..." Asmodeus a little whistfully. Once more, he convieniently forgot to include the fact that for the best part of his childhood he tried his utmost best to destroy the pretty flowers and the pleasant peace of his darling Mama's beautiful gardens - and suceeding.

"Cool... I guess it's not s peaceful with me here, though. Falling in the fountains." Adelle let out a soft laugh as she said this. "How long ave you been at this school?" she asked moving back and sitting, once more, on the edge of the fountain.
She wouldn't be going in again.

Asmodeus laughed softly at her reather weak joke. "Oh, you know, just from the word go. I've been here since first year. It's nice here. I've heard it's so much nicer than Hogwarts, or Durmstrang. Not that that would be hard...what about you? How long have you been at Beauxbatons?"

"My parents move around a bit," she said with a nod and a shrug "So I came here for first year, left and went to a different school, and now I'm back here again. I like this place the best, although I'm not quite so sure why."

Asmodeus smiled, and nodded, "So where, and why do your parents move around so much? Is it because of work, or do they just like to travel? It must be awfully disruptive, being upped and shipped around quite so much. I don't like to travel, myself. I prefer to stay in the one place - France is good enough for me."

"Well, we went to Italy or a while, then we went to Spain for a little bit... Oh, why? My dad has a job that requires him to move around a bit," Adelle shrugged again. "But, yes, I do prefer, myself, to stay in one place, but oh well."
