The Museum was a quiet place, usually. Not many people went there unless they were new, exploring students, angry ones trying to get away from it all or, as in this case, wanting to tutor their siblings in some place reasonably silent, with no one around to comment or be nosy or take a peek at what they were doing. You know, somewhere peaceful.
At least, somewhere that would have been peaceful had it not been for the Bradys being in there.
They sat on the shiny, cool floor, Violetta, Caitriona and Jason seated in a little semi-circle. In front of them sat Finn, who was yelling at his older sister with a frustrated voice, in a chorus along with Cait and Jace, "JUST TURN THE PLATE INTO A BEETLE. JUST TURN THE PLATE INTO A BEETLE." Not the most normal thing that you could expect to hear Finn Brady and co. screaming for sure, but in a case such as this it was certainly allowed.
You see, Finn was trying his hardest to tutor his sister that day (and only that day for sure, the way things were going) for Transfiguration. She just didn't have the knack, or the concentration for it, and they were getting nowhere. Jason was along for the ride because (he said) it would be amusing to see Violet fail, but it was more likely because he was failing miserably in the subject, too.
Caitriona, on the other hand, had come along just to laugh, and was doing so heartily as she chanted along with Finn. The Transfiguration work that they were doing was way beyond her years, so there wasn't much else she could have come along for, really. She flopped back onto the floor after a minute or two of watching her sister struggle, pulling up her pale jeans before tucking her arms behind her head.
Violetta, on the other hand, was sitting bolt upright waving her wand fiercely in an attempt to get this stupid blue plate to do anything she wanted it to. Even Jason had managed to change his plate into the beetle it should have been, she noticed, even if it had a suspiciously pale blue sheen and shattered when he laughed with glee and threw it hard at a glass display case nearby. He'd taunted her for a while until she picked up her text book and whacked him over the head with it.
Then the only sound she'd been able to hear from the guy was a string of swearing, amid the laughs of Finn and Caitie.
But that incident had been over an hour ago, and since then the siblings had tried everything that they could to help her learn. Finn had even sat behind her a guided her hand, but nothing worked. She just couldn't do it. "ARGH!" With a frustrated sound, the mixture of a scream and a very high-pitched bellow, the girl, grabbed the plate and threw it hard, where it headed for the door.
Yeah. This was one girl who wasn't afraid of showing her frustration, that was for sure.
{This is shockingly crap. xDDD Things will get better, however. Probably. >_>}
