He smiled at her. Good, she seemed to think he was sweet. He'd have to play it cool for a while, get a few 'friends' maybe, before he could think about trying to get down to business.
"Thanks. I'm sure you wouldn't suck. I've never worked in one before now, but I've had pkenty of time spent learning about mixing drinks and such. I've been around them all my life..." He smiled and said,"Yeah, it is. And maybe a bit clever, I suppose. By far not the best." He grinned at her.
"You know, we have recently added a restaurant section to the club. Right now it's just me and Matt, so he and I split it. He runs and takes care of new couples while I manage the bar... You could have a job as a waitress if you wanted it. We could use the help, that's for sure..."

Felicia chewed on her bottom lip, considering the wonderful proposition. She slowly smiled. "I'd love to - sign me up!" Felicia laughed, and leaned back in her armchair, quite pleased with the results so far. Hmm...Would it be rude to ask about the pay? "So, are you working tonight?" She asked nonchalontly.

He smiled, knowing she was thinking it over, weighing her options.
"Great. That helps us out a lot." When she asked if he was working tonight, he grinned. She wanted to know about the pay. "Yes, we're working tonight. We're open every night, but you can pick the nights you want off. If you want to take the night off, let me know in advance and I'll let you off. The pay is excellent. It depends on the nightly earnings on just how great, but typically, it is much better than most other jobs around here."

What fantastic intuition he must have... "Groovy. Well, I'm free most nights, so that shouldn't be much of a problem," she said with a smile, "So when can I start?" Felicia guessed that she'd be just as well getting to the point with Adam, as it was like he could read her mind or something.

Oh, yes. He was great at seeing through most lies and attempts to dance around the point, and he was great at finding those hidden meanings people weren't always aware they left behind. It was just one of his specialties.
"That's good. That means we won't have to worry about being swamped all that much." He grinned at her. "You can start tonight, if you like. If you'd rather wait, tomorrow would work, too. It's all up to you."

Felicia was tempted to put it off until tomorrow, as that would be the sensible thing to do, giving her time to get ready. But Felicia isn't one to do the sensible thing. "I'll swing by tonight. Wouldn't want to leave you swamped now, would I?" She said, already trying to think of what she'd wear, "Is there a dress code, or do you just wear what you want?" Felicia cocked her head slightly to the side as she asked, mentally going through her wardrobe.

He grinned. "Perfect. It's great having you on board, Felicia. I can't tell you how much this means to us, and how much you're helping us out. If there's ever anything you need, don't hesitate to ask."
A dress code? He smiled and said,"Nope. Just as long as you're wearing clothes, there's no dress code. Some people may have one, but me and Matt believe in expressing one's self. So wear whatever you like!" Ah, this was going very well...

"So no going in the nude, eh? There goes my outfit plan," She laughed, joking, and shook her head. "And don't mention it, Adam. I'm sure it'll be a pleasure working for you. I'm quite looking forward to it." She paused, a smile on her lips, "So, how long have you been working there?"

He laughed and said,"I guess so. So you'd best get ready for a wild night." He winked at her, joking. Oh, he hoped this paid off in the end. He simply hated acting all goody-goody. But it came with the territory, and at times, it was necessary.
"I'm sure it'll be a pleasure having you work for me." He grinned at her and thought for a moment. "Well, I got here about a month ago, and I opened it the second day, so it's been going for quite a while..."

Felicia grinned, glad that she'd be working for someone with a sense of humor, "Wild, eh? My favourite sort of night..." When he said he'd been here for a month, and opened the club on the second day, she was fairly impressed. "You must be one hell of a businessman. How did you come into the club? Was it just by chance?"

Oh yes, she was working for someone with a sense of humor. Well, a normally sadistic one, but hey, he had to play it cool here. For now, at least.
"You could say that. I found it as I was exploring the nearby towns. I saw potential, and I knew I could get something from it. I pulled a few strings, got it for a little bit of nothing, then fixed it up really nice. Touched up with some spells, recruited Matt, and here we are. I now have two friends working for me. I'd say I'm doing pretty damn good, wouldn't you?" He grinned at her.
((I'm heading off to bed for the... morning? xD Ut's 2:16. I'll be back around 10... Ciao!))

"Wow, that's a sucess story and a half. Well, good luck to you and your business, then. It must've been a bit of a surprise to have it all move so fast. I don't think I'd have been able to keep up with it all!" Felicia laughed, which was true. She prefered to take things slowly. Well, somethings...
((See you then!))

Je laughed and said,"Yeah, it took me a little by surprise at how fast it took off. I mean, the day I had finished fixing it up, I had tons of customers! It was crazy." Ah, but Adam was good at judging when to take things slowly and when to speed things up. He had to be if he wanted to get things done right...
