Felicia was bored. Why else would she be lurking around the library? It's not as though she was actually planning on reading anything. She didn't want to go for a swim - she'd went there yesterday. She didn't want to work out, as she felt curiously tired, and there wasn't much else to do but wander.
Stalking quietly through the rows and rows of ancient texts, and leather bound books, Felicia let her fingers trail along the middle shelves on either side, feeling each spine, each tied together bunch of musty parchment. She smirked in the dim light. It was a rare occasion idea for her to come here, but she was starting to quite like the quiet, and the smell.
Oh yes, the smell.
It was a curious thing indeed the smell. When she'd first walked it, she wrinkled her nose in disgust at it, but now...now it was different. She couldn't quite describe what the scent was, exactly. It was...it was the perfume of knowledge, carried on those ancient pages, the intoxicating fumes of age. Again, she smirked. God, she needed to get out of here. She was starting to sound like her dork of a brother.
Randomly plucking out a book from the highest shelf from within her reach, Felicia sauntered back towards the armchairs by the fire, straightened her floaty cream skirt, and sat down, legs curled beneath her. She opened the book, and flicked through it half-heartedly. The text was tiny, and hard to read, so instead, she just glanced at the illustrations. It seemed to be about animals, or something, as there were plenty pictures of them, though it typically involved them being pickled...Perhaps it was a cook book?

((Hope you don't mind me joining you? =D))
Adam had dumped everything off in the Lioano common room. Cian was waiting for him there, sleeping in his own bed beside Adam's. He walked with his hands in his pockets, a grim look on his face. His teeth were clenched, and he looked normal - which, for Adam, was pissed.
He was wearing his dark gray pants, his dark gray tennis shoes, and his dark green sweater. He wore a jet black jacket over it that was buttoned up. It reached about mid-thigh, and the collar was loose, so two pieces were hanging out at the side as it was flipped up.
He walked into the library, heading straight for the Dark Arts section. To others, it would look like he were studying for Defense Against the Dark Arts. To him, he knew he was actually studying the Dark Arts. He saw a girl, but he ignored her. He didn't need anything from her yet.
He picked out a chair in front of the fire, though it was a bit away from hers. He opened the book and began to pour over it, reading and filing away every word, every fact. He would need it all if he were going to get any better...

((T'is a my pleasure.))
Felicia was aware of the young man since he first set foot in the door. She glanced up at him, pale blue eyes giving him a less than subtle once over. He was in Lioano, and the year above her - and that's all she knew. Felicia had seen him around, but they'd never been formally introduced.
Returning to her book, she pretended to be suddenly interested, though she kept a wary look out on him from the corner of her eye. She uncurled her legs, as they were getting cramped, before stretching them, and re-crossing them. The fire felt stiflingly warm, but she was reluctant to leave the comfortable armchair.

Adam felt her eyes on him from the moment she had looked up, but he just sat there, reading. After a time, he looked up at her, curious as to who she was to sit here staring at him. He recognized her from Lioano, but he didn't know much else besides she was a year below him.
"Might I ask who you are?" he said quietly. There was no need to speak in anything much above a whisper in here. It was dead silence except for the crackling of the fire. He watched as she uncurled her legs, guessing they had begun to cramp, and waited patiently for her answer.

Felicia looked up at him properly, and paused for a moment before answering him, wondering if he ment anything by the question.
"Felicia. Felicia de la Ravin. And you are...?" she replied, trailing off. She was glad to have the silence broken. It was far too quiet there in the library. She wondered how Serphius, the insufferable bookworm that he was, could stand it. He practically lived in here.

He nodded as she spoke her name, not giving his just yet. He looked into the fire for a moment, watching the flames lick the walls and jump higher as a log fell.
"Adam MacKeltar." He turned back to her. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Of course, she didn't know him, so she couldn't possibly know that he was a Death Eater. Well, he'd have to make sure it stayed that way...

"Adam MacKeltar"...
Why did that ring a bell? Felicia shrugged it off. She'd probably over-heard someone talking about him, or something trivial like that. "And it's a pleasure to meet you too." She replied with the smallest of coy smiles. The book lay forgotten on her lap. "So what brings you to this God forsaken place on such a nice day like today?" Oh, blah. Small talk. She was making small talk. Awful.
Well, she supposed, you're never going to get anywhere without small talk to break the ice, are you?

He smiled and said,"Just reading to pass the time, really. Shaded Nights doesn't open for a while yet, so I'm not needed there. Besides, I enjoy reading at times. Mainly just for homework or to help me out in some situations, but there you go."
He closed his book after conjuring a bookmark with his wand. He had slipped it inside, and now he was focusing his full attention on her. "What about you? What brings you here on a fine day like today?" He truly had come here, expecting it to be empty, but had found that was not true. Instead, he was now having a conversation with Felicia. Well, at least he could see if something would come of this. He'd do his research later...

Ooh, so that's where she'd heard his name from! He owned Shaded Nights. Fantastic.
"Oh, I just felt like a bit of a wonder, you know. I was that bored." Felicia said with a small laugh, "But I do admit, it's quite nice here. So what's it like working at a club? I bet you get all sorts in there - must be really exciting."

Yes, that's where she'd heard his name from. He wasn't known as a Death Eater except among Death Eaters. Even then, he went by the name Drake so no one could rat him out if they were caught.
"It's pretty great. I get to do something I've always enjoyed, and I get to meet new people every night. There are a couple of regulars, but that just means I don't have to introduce myself as much." Yes, he got to meet new people. When they were drunk, he got to weedle information out of them. It was most interesting, and he got what he needed most of the time. "What about you? Do you do anything on the side?"

Felicia stiffled her laughter at the last part, as it reminded her of something. Regaining her elegant composure, she shook her head slowly. "No, unfortunately. I'm looking, though." She said, with a little shrug, which was true. She'd been looking for a while, but there were few places looking for help that were close enough.

He grinned at her stiffled laughter, wondering what on earth he had said that was funny, but he didn't mind it. At least she was opening up, and he was relaxing slightly as well. At least, he was a bit more at peace today. He'd be very much at peace once he opened the club. A few beers and mixed drinks, and he'd be good to go.
"Well, there are a few little shops trying to open around the club. And I'd offer you a job, but Matt already took it. He needed the money, and he's very fond of clubs and bars, if you understand what I'm saying. He likes them more than me. But, I'll keep an eye open for any job openings for you." He smiled at her.

What a trusting person, Felicia thought, grinning. And how very nice of him. "That's super sweet of you, thanks. Though you should probably know I've never worked in a bar or club in my whole life, so yeah. I'd probably suck at it." Felicia smiled, and shrugged. Adam had mention something about someone called Matt. Well, that must be the co-owner, or something. She'd heard about the club being ran by two students. "It must be very hard work to run a club like that. I bet you're really clever, too."
