He smiled and said,"That sounds like a wonderful idea. A Fall Ball in the fall, a Winter Ball in winter." He just grinned and said,"Or would the Fall Ball be a 'welcome back' ball? And the Winter Ball be a Christmas Ball?" He just smiled, looking around at the hall. The image was still playing out. It almost made him wish it was real.

"Well, I suppose the Fall one will be a 'welcome back' one as well, but I think the Winter one and the Christmas one will be different. Just to give the students breaks in between their studies and things." She smiled at her ideas.

He grinned and said,"That makes sense." He was watching the dancers dancing, head cocked slightly to the side. He hadn't danced in a while, but he would never forget how to dance. It was one of his favorite things to do... He looked back at Adeline and said,"I can't wait. It's going to be beautiful."

"I'm glad you think so." She followed his gaze at the dancers on the dance floor. "It is going to be beautiful, isn't it?" she said, smiling fondly. "Do you like to dance?" He seemed to be still watching the people.

He smiled at her, tearing his gaze away from the dancers. "Yes, it is. Very beautiful..." When she asked if he liked to dance, he smiled again and said,"Yeah. It's always been something I enjoyed doing. What about you?"

Adeline smiled. She answered, "I thought so. Me? It's a bit like my singing, really, in the fact that I like doing it but I'm not... very good." She laughed. "At all."

He grinned and said,"Well, in that case, you enjoy doing it. And, like your singing, you're pretty good." He smiled and said,"You'd have to prove to me that you weren't very good before I'd believe you." He grinned at her.

"Are you saying that my singing was good?" Adeline asked, snorting. "I don't know what you're hearing, but I'm not hearing anything much good. And... is that an invitation for me to step on your feet while calling it 'dancing'?"

He laughed and said,"I heard pretty good. Maybe not superstar material, but hey, we can't all be famous singers." He grinned. "And as for your dancing, yes, that was." He smiled and offered his hand, bowing slightly as he did so. His gentlemanly habits never seemed to die.

Adeline laughed with him. "Erm... thank you?" She smiled again, and took his hand, feeling stupid. "You'll have to help me. I don't know what I'm doing."
{Seems like all of Katie's characters don't know how to dance... Odd, hm? xD}

{{xD Well, some of mine do. Most of them, actually. But I honestly don't have a clue how, besides the Cha Cha Slide. xDD}}
He grinned and said,"No problem. Just follow my lead..." He clasped her hand and placed his other on her waist, instructing her,"Place your other hand on my shoulder..." He smiled and said,"And don't worry about feeling stupid. That was how I felt in the beginning, but it's really not as hard as it looks."

"Will do." She grinned, doing as he said and lightly placing her hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, that's easy for you to say, you already know how to do it!" Adeline paused, and continued with a laugh, "I kind of hope that nobody comes in; they'd think we were doing some sort of weird ceremony, dancing around amid ghosts." She nodded at all the dancers.

He grinned and said,"It's not that hard really. Just keep thinking '1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3.' You'll be fine." He smiled and laughed at her words. "Yeah, they'd think we were a little crazy, huh?" He grinned at her. "Now, follow my lead..." He began to step, but slowly, to show her the pattern. After he had done that, he stopped and said,"Got it? Or do we need to go over it a few more times?" He was smiling at her.
