Ello all, this is Sacri here who is having a bad day and needs to roleplay but the computer sucks and this is the only site working for her. So yes, she needs to roleplay and doesn't want to do Hogwarts.
Anyways, this is going to be an arranged marriage and a medieval one at that. I haven't done one of these in awhile but I want too and so yeah, here we are.
Anyways, I'm playing the girlie. Yeah.
xD
So whomever joins, it would be nice if you played a guy.
And yeah, Sharada is sixteen, he's five years older then her. He's twenty one. =]

Sharada...
She had been claimed even before she was aware of what love was, of what marriage was, of the bond between two people that could become so strong it could unite countries and change worlds. She was denied the gradual feelings that love brought you and was thrown into a scenario she did not want to be anywhere near. The arrangements had been made when she was a baby, but the prophets had said it had had to be done. They told their parents the exact day they needed to be wed, to bring the best fortune, the best prosperity in their lives. An August night, with the new moon would bring them all the luck that they would ever need. She would be a good wife, she would bear the children needed to put on the throne, to build an even stronger generation then that of which had come before.
And she wouldn't find out until they had to tell her, it was best to let her grow up strong and thinking she was in control, it would build better character. Of course, she would be taught to be obedient, and to listen, to submit, but their new queen needed to have a fire within her somewhere. He would remember though, he would know, he would be prepared. He had been six when the marriage had been decided on, she had been a baby, barely walking and still clinging to her mother's side. He would remember it always, and she would have no clue.

‘Darling…’
“Yes mother?”
‘Your father and I, well we wanted to tell you something…’
“Oh? What is it?”
‘Well you see darling… You’re to be married.’
“Oh.”
That was how she had taken the news, she didn't scream, she didn't whine, she didn't cry, she didn't yell, she barely breathed. She knew that there was no way for her to change what was happening to her and she just had to go with it. It wasn't how she normally behaved. But then again, what could she do? There was no way for her to change something she had no control over.
Even if it was her life.
"When?"
She asked a few moments later, turning to face the window beside her, looking out at the garden. "When will I marry?"
'The new moon...' Her mother said softly.
Sharada turned sighing softly as her gaze flickered down, nodding her head in a symbol of compliance.
It was four days away.
Four days, that were quickly filled with lessons of everything she had to do, everything she had to say, every way that she had to act, everything she was going to have to do, as a mother, as a queen, as a wife. She took everything in, thouh in the rush most was forgotten or ignored, though one thing was haunting her, probably because her mother and her nurse kept repeating it. 'It will hurt when he takes you, takes you as his wife.' It sent rather unpleasant shivers up and done her spine at the thought, but she tried to ignore her thoughts and heed her lessons, and make her parents proud.

"Mother, I want to meet him."
'Sharada, you can't!'
"But mother, why? I can't marry I man I've never met before!"
'You have met him before.'
"I don't remember it!"
'Sharada its bad luck for him to see you before you marry, besides you'll meet him soon enough.'
Meeting someone at the altar wasn't exactly her idea of meeting someone.
"Wouldn't it be bad luck to have not married him before though?"
'You have met- Sharada, hold your tongue, you'll meet him soon enough. Please remember what we have taught you. its almost time.'
"Yes mother." Sharada said softly, looking down at her hands as a bouquet was shoved into them.
Her mother raised her hand to fix her daughter's veil, a smile on her lips as she touched her daughter's cheek. 'Be strong darling.'
With that her mother left, heading into a side door that would lead her into the hall where her father was waiting with the other king and queen, as well as her husband to be. This was it.
She sighed softly as she straightened her posture, gaze still down as she looked ahead.
And then the music began to play.
