So it had been, overall, a pretty shitalkymushrooms kind of day, ya know? The three boys had been hanging out all day, just talking and trying to work through everything. Who might these three boys be, you might ask? Well, none other than a Mr. Jonathan Halliwell, Mr. Matthew Jerrolds, and Mr. Cove Bentley. The three were all going through some rough stuff, and they had planned to get together -- yes, on Christmas night -- to talk about it. Christmas for them? Yeah. Not so fun, really. Not. At. All. Jonathan, of course, had just mended a rather broken relationship, but that wasn't what had made his Christmas rather crappy. No. It was actually an event that had occurred not too long ago, all because of his ex-girlfriend. Alyssa.
Matthew? Yes, the boy was having some issues. Of course, he was still not really so good with the whole him having a girlfriend thing. He really cared about Emerald, but he had to get past this little commitment-fear thing, and Emerald had not been found all day and night. Plus, he was still having those damn nightmares of Felicia when he had seen her in the hospital wing. Then there was Cove. Poor guy was a mess. He was going through one of his depression phases, and they were there for him this time. He had come to Jon an absolute wreck, tears streaming down his face and just completely out of it. He had arrived right after Matt, so they had decided to make a night out of it. Afterall, they each had problems. Why not help each other figure it out?
So they had gathered around on the two beds, and Matt had magicked up a third bed, so they were able to have plenty of room and to talk comfortably. So they each laid on the beds, staring off into the distance, waiting for one of them to start talking. Jon was in the middle bed, and Cove was closest to the door. Matt was farthest from the door, against the wall and near to the window. It was Matt who started talking, and before he knew it, he was telling them everything. It was pretty crazy, but there you go. "So. I slept with Emerald, and we're... dating now. But... I don't know. I have big commitment issues, you know? I mean, it's an actual fear. And I don't want to end it, but I don't know how to ease it. And I can't find her tonight, so here I am..." He fell silent, knowing he could go on, but deciding to let one of them speak first.
It was Cove who spoke next. "I..." He paused, and Matt rolled onto his side to look over at the boy. He was staring at his bed, trying to find the words. Then he looked up at them. "I kissed Elliott. Well, a few times, actually... And I really like him... A lot. But I also like Serphius. And..." His teeth scraped across his piercing. "I feel like he was using me, you know? Until Lexi got out of the hospital wing... And I don't know. I can't figure it out. I don't know what to think, what to feel, anymore..." He fell silent, and then he sighed and brushed his hair out of his face. Matt was actually surprised a little. Cove always seemed so together and confident. Seeing him like this made him seem more... human. At any rate... Next?
Then Jonathan took a shaky breath and swallowed hard. His voice was shaking as he told them what had happened. "Well... Alyssa's back. My ex from Hogwarts. She, uh... We dated for a few years, and she was... my first. And, uh, well, she followed me here, and... She found me in the club..." Matt looked at him questioningly and asked,"The chick who was all over you?" Jon nodded and continued. "She, uh, drugged my beer. Then she dragged me off and... she, um... raped me..." His voice trailed off, getting quieter and quieter. "I can't face Roxie now..." His voice was a little choked by the tears he was swallowing. Matt and Cove were shocked, and neither could think of anything to say.
The three talked through it, and finally they fell asleep, each in their day clothes. They all felt a little better, and perhaps they had come to understand everything a little more. They had turned off the lights, of course, and had finally fell asleep after hours of just talking and hanging out. It was good that they had done this. They felt more at peace, and perhaps, they felt even a little happier. It was good to just have a "guys' night". And besides, they couldn't necessarily talk about this with most of the other people they knew, because most of them were involved, so this was good for all of them. Somehow, they all felt closer than ever now. Maybe that was because each had revealed something very personal, or perhaps it was something else. Who knew?
It was late, but of course that wouldn't stop the next turn of events. This time, they had used more highly-trained Death Eaters. Sure, they were out to kill a few, but they wanted more survivors. Afterall, who could better spread the message than the survivors? Of course, no one could! So two Death Eaters headed for the boys' dorm, and one silently opened the door. The two crept inside and shut the door just as quietly. They paused, waiting for it. Then they nodded to each other, and suddenly the same curse flew from their mouths. "Crucio!" It was spoken normally, but man was it a hell of an awakening for the two unlucky ones to be hit. Those two unlucky ones would be Matt and Cove.
Matt awoke with a scream, his eyes flying open before squeezing shut as he felt as if he were on fire. What was going on? Cove felt himself jolted awake, and a cry tore from his lips. What was this? Who was doing this to them? Jon was awoken by the sounds of his friends' anguish, and his eyes flew open as he looked around. He flew from his bed with a yell, tearing across the room at the two. He knocked one down, the one attacking Matt, and knocked him to the floor. The curse was lifted, and he heard Matt gasp for breath before a sound was heard as he nearly fell onto the floor. Then a body was flashing through the room as Matt tackled the other one. Cove was freed of the spell, and the Death Eaters were yelling in frustration.
Suddenly, Matt was thrown off, and he landed on his right wrist. He gasped and his wrist flew to his chest as pain shot through it. He'd sprained it. He groaned and tried to push himself to his feet, but the Death Eater was already advancing on Cove. His eyes widened, and he threw himself at the Death Eater the moment he was on his feet. They fell to the ground, and Matt felt his head crash against the wall. He saw black, and he felt very disoriented. The Death Eater got to his feet, then tripped on Matt's ankle, bending it to an impossible angle, and he felt it as it cracked, a fracture lining its length. Then the Death Eater got to his feet, cursing under his breath, and slashed at Matt's chest with his wand. Matt gasped before his eyes slid closed and he slumped, unconscious, against the wall.
Jon, meanwhile, was grappling with the Death Eater. It ended with the Death Eater breaking Jon's right arm. Before that, he had landed on it roughly, and it had been sprained. He was in complete pain, but still he struggled. He somehow managed to get to his feet and shove the Death Eater down, though he wasn't sure how. Then he saw Matt slumped against the wall, bleeding, but he didn't have time to help him because Cove was being attacked by the other Death Eater. He heard Cove's ragged breathing as he was being tortured, not letting himself scream, but reduced to hot tears of pain. Jon ran at him, grabbing his wand as he shoved him to the ground. The spell was lifted, as was Jon. The Death Eater got to his feet, picked Jon up, and threw him against the wall.
The original Death Eater then began to torture Jon again, as the other tortured Cove. Soon, Cove became numb to the pain, but he still writhed a little. His head slammed into the wall pretty hard, and his vision blackened. Then the Death Eater dragged him back by his ankles, picked him up, and threw him on the ground. Cove's head slammed into the corner of the dresser in the spot that had hit the wall, and he gasped before he completely lost consciousness. The Death Eater then turned, growing bored, and turned on Jon with the other. It was time to really hurt this bastard who had made their job so difficult. Stupid boy had to be a hero, huh? Well, the hero doesn't always win, and it was time to teach him a lesson...
Jon was so out of it, he felt detached from his body. After he had lifted the curse, and the other came over, he looked up at them, their forms pretty fuzzy now. His vision was failing. He then felt the other Death Eater step on his ankle, and he cried out as pain shot through his body. He had just shattered his ankle. But that wasn't all. He then proceeded to kick at him as hard as he could, and Jon squirmed and blocked with his knee. He felt his knee being crushed by the blow, and pain exploded behind his eyes as he kept them squeezed shut tightly. Then the cruciatus was upon him once more, and he felt himself writhing once more. It was his same leg that had been destroyed, and suddenly he felt another pain between his knee and ankle. In his writhing, he had torn his hamstrings. Lovely, right?
It wasn't over yet, though. Oh no. They now lifted him up and threw him. But not against the wall. Oh no. They couldn't be simple and practical, could they? Nope. No. They had to go and throw him through the freaking window. He felt the glass shatter on his back and head, feeling it cutting his skin. His head slammed against the windowpane, and he felt himself land outside. He was gasping for breath, but it seemed they still weren't finished with him. Nope. Couldn't make it any easier on him, could they? They just had to give him even more things to remember them by, right? Right. So one stepped out and shouted,"Sectumsempra!" Jon felt his chest open up as a large, deep cut poured blood from the wound. He then remembered seeing the other join them as they disappeared, jumping from the roof and going to wait on the others. Then it all faded as he lost consciousness, his entire body numb to the pain by now even as snow fell from the sky.
Well, they were nice and screwed now, huh?
((Okay. Be sure to describe the day before, if you can. It makes it much more interesting. And there will be NO lingering of Death Eaters this time. They do the job and disappear. So if you need to fight, make sure they stay there, 'kay? Okay. ^^ Hopefully this can pass pretty quickly. NOW START YER POSTING, PEOPLES. =D))
