(I decided this is after the last Attack..so...yeah. xD)
Tobias was on a downer. Today, it seemed, was only going to get more miserable, though he didn't know how that was even possible. There he was, practically ankle deep in mud, searching through some awful dirty bushes by some waterfall apparently out in the middle of nowhere looking for his grumpy cat. His hands and arms were bandaged up making him look like some prop from a dodgy D-list Muggle horror film - not only that, but the nurse told him to rest them for at least two weeks. Two weeks! That was a whole fortnight of no piano. No hunting. No violin. No archery. It was starting to get dark now. What a nightmare!
"Chou-Chou!" He grumbled, sniffling unhappily, "Chou-Chou....where are you kitty? Uft, where are you?"
And of course, there was always the threat of a fourth Death Eater attack. How unlucky am I, he lamented to himself. How many attacks have I been in? Three now? Got to be a record. It just has to be. Still cursing away in his head, Tobias worked his way round the waterfall, checking every nook and cranny for his daft white cat. He was hardly what you would call dressed for such a task. He work a crisp white shirt with a dark green slim waistcoat, a pair of plain black trousers, and shiny black shoes. Well, they used to be shiny. Now they were just mud splattered. His long red tresses were held back by a small length of green ribbon, his fringe tucked behind one ear to keep it from his pale face so his eyepatch was in plain view. He didn't care. There was no-one around to pester him up there anyway.
"Chou-Chou..." he whined, "Silly cat. Where are you? You don't like being out side! You must be miserable - it's going to rain soon! Chou-Chou...!"

Beatrix could tell that if she stayed outside for another five minutes, she’d be soaked. But she didn’t mind, seeing as she could easily have a shower when she got inside anyway. She held Cookie in her arms, trying hard to keep her there, despite her struggles.
“Stupid cat, what do you want? We’re near a waterfall, cats are meant to hate wate-oh crap! Cookie! Come back!” Cookie has finally jumped out of Bea’s arms and pelted away, running as fast as she could. Bea’s cries of ‘COME BACK YOU DAFT CAT!’ were helpless, as Cookie didn’t listen.
Bea sighed, annoyed and now covered in mud from where her cat has jumped into puddles of the stuff. Wiping mud from her face she continued, looking around for her cat. “Cookie?” She mumbled, knowing it was pointless.
"Chou-Chou..." Bea stopped and looked up. There was someone else there, supposedly looking for his pet too. Maybe that was the reason Cookie had ran off. She debated on wherever or not she should introduce herself and stepped forward slightly, but before she could get any further another cat caught her eye. She grinned and picked it up. It was a beautiful cat, despite the mud splattered all over it. She could tell it was meant to be white.
“Excuse me, I think I found your cat…” She said, noticing Cookie and beckoning him over with a small hand gesture, which she finally obeyed.
((Ick, this is my first in character post, and it svcks!))

Tobias glanced sharply over his shoulder when he heard another voice. When he saw it was a girl, he straightened up quickly, a streak of colour rising in his cheeks. Oh no - he must look an absolute state. Panting a little, covered in mud - what a first impression. He flashed the stranger a polite smile.
"Good evening Miss," he said automatically. Tobias was almost pleased to see she was just as muddy as he was, though the first fat drops of rain were starting to fall. He grimaced, "Oh, did you say you found my cat? Oh, thank you! Eh, may I?"
Tobias swiftly removed the fat cat from the arms of the stranger, just in case she scratched or bit her. How embarrassing would that be? The damp and bedraggled looking cat yowled unhappily, and squirmed in Tobias's light grip.
"I've been looking for her all over the school grounds! I don't know what she's doing all the way out here. Chou-Chou loathes being outside! Silly cat," he said, holding her up to eye-level, and frowning, "Oh! How rude of me! Let me introduce myself; my name is Tobias Haden, seventh year Intermise. I'm afraid I don't have a jacket, or I would lend you it. It looks like we're about to get soaked!"

Beatrix grinned. "No, it's Kay, at least the rain will wash away some of the mud. I'm Beatrix Kingston, Seventh Year, Lian." She introduced herself, picking her own cat up, glad she didn't struggle this time.
"Oh, this is Cookie." Bea explained, holding Cookie up, knowing she hated the rain, but there was nothing she could do about it now.
She wondered why his cat was named 'Chou-Chou'. It sounded like a train, and she wanted to ask, but thought he might get the wrong impression and think of her as rude. She put Cookie down on the floor, watching her paw the ground, then laying down, an angry expression on her face when the rain poured and hit her on the ear.

"Yes, I suppose there is that," Tobias agreed. He cast a critical eye over Beatrix, and decided she seemed a decent enough girl. He glanced around them, trying to spy some like nook or cranny the could take refuge in while waiting for the rain to stop. He spotted a small opening on the rocks a little further up which could be a cave of some sort they could use.
"Would you rather we dash back to the school now, or wait out this down pour up in there?" he asked, holding Chou-Chou under one arm, and pointing casually with his free hand, "Rain like this can't last for long!"

Bea nodded. "Okay, you're probably right." She was soaked now, and picked up Cookie, heading for the small cave, hoping Tobias would follow.
She clambered up to the little cave a couple of seconds later, soaked, she sat down and put Cookie down, praying the little kitten wouldn't run off, but she looked soaked and Bea felt guilty for coming outside in the first place. Picking up her wand, she dried her cat, then herself, waiting for Tobias.
She looked around, suprised she'd never noticed this cave before. It was quite small, but big enough for three, maybe four people. The rain echoed of the cave wall, making it seem really loud, but Beatrix didn't mind much, as long as it was shelter.

Still holding onto Chou-Chou tightly, Tobias nodded, and tried to scramble up to the little cave after Beatrix as gracefully as he could manage. Seeing as it was rather muddy and not getting any drier, this wasn't exactly an easy feat for him. Ducking into the mouth cave, he dropped Chou-Chou onto the floor, where she scampered away to perch like a little soggy queen on a rock of her own. He then promptly sat down, and set about drying himself off like Beatrix, and cleaning his grubby bandages and shoes.
Once he was done, and both him and his cat were back to their usual clean, dry, groomed selves, an awkward silence seemed to set in. He honestly didn't really know what to say, and couldn't help but feel the whole situation was slightly inappropriate. After all, there he was stuck in some little hole in the wall with some girl he didn't even know and two cats.
"So, uh...Have you been at Beauxbatons since first year?"
