Kai Soudai...can cook. Surprisingly, a guy like him, can cook really well. Coming from a poorhouse taught him how to make a meal out of almost nothing. However, when at school, and millions of foods at reach, he can cook. He didn't elaborate, 'cause it was just a picnic. However, once into the groove, he may have went a little overboard. He made baked Zetti. A pasta with tomato sauce, cheese, sausage, and did I mention cheese? Sort of like lasagna. 100 times better however, and it tastes heavenly. He also made cherry cheesecake for dessert. Who ever said picnics were for sandwiches and salad, never met Kai.
He had packed it in a picnic basket, and used magic to float it down to the Chute D'Eau, no way he was carrying it. He had bought some apple cider and fruit punch...no sure what Faith would like. If she didn't like either he would have to magic up something else. He just hoped she liked pasta and cheesecake. He actually cooked those, and didn't buy them or magic them up outta thin air. Things tasted better when you made them. He laid out a navy blue blanket, and set the basket in the center. Kai then lay back on the blanket, watching the waterfall peicefully. There was still about 20 mins until Faith showed up so he decided to relax.
Unfortunatly, his eyes decided they were going to also relax. His lids closed, and his long lashes rested on his cheeks as he started to fall into a light sleep. The sun shining down on his blonde hair, making him look like a sleeping lion. The warmth spreading through his muscular body as he lay there.

Faith was dressed in a white tank top under a light-blue-dark-blue-striped collared shirt. There was a sky blue sweater over it, and it hung out over the top and bottom. There was a string of loose pearls around her neck. She wore a pair of dark blue jeans that had a slit halfway down her calf. Her shoes were pink and other colors, and they were converses. Her hair was in a slightly messy ponytail in the back, leaving bangs hanging on the right side, swept to the side. There was a strand of longer hair on the right side, curling gently, that came to about her collarbone.
She made her way down to the picnic with Kai, smiling. Things had went so perfectly. She had talked to Jon that night, and he had actually been okay with the idea. He still wanted to meet Kai, but he said that he wasn't worried right now. He had said that seeing her that happy was something he had never seen before, and he didn't ever want to see her otherwise. She grinned at the thought, coming around the corner. She spotted Kai, and she grinned, seeing him apparently dozing. Her eyes crinkled slightly with silent laughter, and she creapt up on him.
She bent down, more silent than a mouse. Her movements were covered by the waterfall, and she was careful that her shadow didn't fall on him. She then threw her arms around him and said,"Hey! Wake up, silly!" She was laughing by now, seeing the picnic blanket and the basket. She knew she'd like whatever he had brought. She wasn't really very picky. Sure, she liked healthy foods, but she wasn't a big health freak. Water was her favorite, but she still liked other drinks... She waited for him to wake up, not letting him go. He had room to sit up if he wanted, but that was about it. Her body was laying beside his, and she was grinning.

Even if inside he just got scared shitless, his instinct was to lay still. When the cheery voice registered in his head, he turned his head toward it. His eyes didn't open as he leaned over, and in one swift movement stole a kiss. His hand cupped around her neck, while he propped himself up slightly with his elbow. His soft lips pressing onto hers, ever so gentle. He pulled back and opened his eyes, just what he wanted to see when he did. His green eyes looking down at her, a soft twinkle in them.
He untangled himself from her arms, and rose to his knees. His shadow falling across her form, as he looked at the basket. His stomach giving off a complaint of hunger, a thin blush creeping onto his cheeks. "Guess I'm hungry" he said, one of his eyebrows raised. He scooted across the blanket to open the basket, then sat back.
"Look inside Faith...tell me if you like it, if not I can always magic something up" He said, eyeing the clear wrap that was around the two plates of baked Zetti and the other two plates with cheesecake on them. Blonde hair falling into his intelligent green eyes. Kai wasn't sorrowfull like his sister, in fact he didn't even know about his brothers death. Not the faintest idea, in fact he hadn't even seen his sister lately. Nor talked to her. He was way to busy being giving Faith his full undivided attention.

She grinned as he pulled away from the kiss, having gladly kissed him back. She laughed slightly at his comment about being hungry, not in a mean way. She smiled and said,"I guess that makes two of us..." Then he told her to look into the picnic basket. She scooted closer to him to do so, peering inside, and she grinned. Zeti and cherry cheesecake. Yummy! "Oooh. Yummy!" She turned and grinned at him, kissing him softly. "It looks very delicious, Kai!" She was being completely honest, too. There was also apple cider and fruit punch, both very good choices. This was going to be a perfect date...

"Thank you, I am glad you like it, because magicked stuff doesn't taste as good as my own cooking" he said, a sparkle in his green eyes. He pulled the two plates of Zeti out and gave her one, the magicked up two forks. He handed her a fork, then undid the plastic wrapping from them both. He flicked his wand and two glasses appeared, and he put out the fruit punch and apple cider. He poured himself some appel cider, then raised an eyebrow at Faith. Waiting for her to tell him which one she wanted.
"You look great today" he couldn't help but say, "Not that you don't look great everyday" he said, quickley recovering himself. Some chicks took compliments as insults when they read into it too much.

She grinned and said,"I bet. Magicked stuff tastes a lot worse than a nice homecooked meal, and I'm betting yours is some of the best around!" Of course, she was still being honest, and was growing slightly hungry. When it was unwrapped, and he asked what she wanted, she smiled and said,"Cider."
She blushed very slightly, though it faded pretty quickly, and said,"Thanks! And I wouldn't take it that way, Kai..." She smiled at him and kissed him lightly before taking a bite of the Zeti. Her smile widened even more, and she said,"Yummy!" She grinned, evident that she was being completely honest.

Kai smiled, as he loved the way Faith was so honest. No faking, no lying. He wanted to just scoop her up and hug her and never let go. That isn't really an option though. He poured the cider into her glass. Then looked up through his blonde hair and lashes. "Did I ever tell you how cute you are?" he asked.
Then he forked a few mouthfulls of the zetti into himself. She was right, he did do a good job on this one. He blushed slightly, wondering if Faith thought it wierd for a boy to cook. Other guys had made fun of him before, calling him a housewife to be or something around the lines of that. Most of the time he just brush the comment off, not really caring what the hell anyone thought. He cared a lot though, about what Faith thought of him.

She giggled slightly and said,"No, but I believe I'll take that as a compliment..." She ate a few more bites of the Zetti. It seemed to get even better the more she ate! "And you are certainly cute yourself, Kai, though in a more masculine way." She grinned at him.
She noticed the blush, wondering what it was about. Suddenly, she had a thought, and she figured it would probably fit well. He seemed to care so much about what she thoughts of him... "I like a guy who can cook. The girls shouldn't have to do all the work, afterall. Besides, my brother used to cook for me, until we came here. He enjoys it, and I do too." She smiled at him, taking a sip of the cider.

Kai smiled, he placed the palm of his head on her cheek then said quite comically, "Oh so, you will do the cooking next time yeh?" He laughed and dropped his hand, "Just joking, I love to cook too, Ash taught me, I think I like eating the food more though" he said, spooning a mouthful of zetti in. He went to eat more, and sighed. His plate was empty...ah well good things like that don't last forever, espeicially if its food. He pulled out the deserts, cherry cheesecake...ooohhh melt! He undid the plastic wrapping and put Faiths cake beside her current plate and dug into his.
His smiled, "Well, this turned out even better then I thought it would" he said motioning to the cheesecake with his fork. He shook his head, trying to clear his blond bangs from his green eyes. Not working, he flicked them away with his fingers, only for them to fall back. Really, really need a haircut. He sighed, giving up on his bangs and took another forkfull of cheesecake.

She grinned, finishing up. She took a bite of the cheesecake and said,"Mmmm!" She took another bite, her eyes closing for a moment. This was very good cheesecake. She opened her eyes and grinned at him. "Good. We'll all get along even better, then." She sipped from the cider before returning to the cheesecake. Really, he was going to get her addicted to this stuff!
