Cross legged, in the middle of the left side of the court, sat Elliott. A racket beside him, along with a few randomly placed yellow tennis balls. Aqua eyes stared at the racket, then turned to a ball, then back again. What, in flying ducks, was he supposed to do with this stick and peice of rubber? Black bangs fell down into his face, as he pouted for a second. His 'guidance counciler' had told him to try tennis to take his mind off the thought of the on coming event of his sister coming to Beauxbatons from Durmstrang.Running a few slender fingers through his hair, he gritted his teeth. His sister, was someone he didn't want coming here. He supposed he had to be thankful that his brother wasn't coming also. He picked up the racket and stared at it some more, playing tennis was supposed to be a stress releiver, instead it was a frustration maker. Elly had no clue how to play, or even what he was supposed to do with these peices of equipment.
He twirled the racket like a baton in his palm, then placed it down the front of his shirt so that the mesh was pressing against his face like a cage on a hockey helmet. He stood up and pretended to have a sword, placing one hand on his hip and quirked up, "On gaurd ye fiesty blubber duck!" making stabs and thrusts through the air with his fist. Today his clothing was as such, a black t-shirt with purple and pink designs on the left corner up to his right shoulder diagonally. While plaid pants that were a little too big, with chains criss crossing here and there were on his legs. He had to admit, the chain pants were a little too restricting for this. Elly stopped moving about and stood there rather forlornly, the racket still stuffed akwardly as it were. He bent down and picked up a ball, holding it in his hand for a moment before bouncing it on the foam like quality of the courts flooring. It bounced back into his hand, and he sighed. This was obviously not working...but what was he to do. He had to spend at least half an hour here everyday just to prove to his 'counciler' that he had actually tried it.
Maybe somone would come along and reach down to pull him from this dreary hell hole? Perhaps.

Cove had decided to enjoy a nice day playing tennis. He'd debated between tennis or swimming, but he had decided that tennis would be best on a cold day such as this, so he had headed for the court. You could hardly say he dressed the part. He was wearing dark blue jeans that were rather tight, a pink shirt with maroon designs flowing across it, and black converses. Everything else was just as normal, really. The black studded belt, the piercings, though today there was an addition to his wardrobe: a hat. It was tilted to the side in a cute way. It was simply for show, mainly because he enjoyed being different and such.
He was humming a cheery tune, carrying his racket in his left hand leaned back against his shoulder. He carried a container of tennis balls in the other hand, and a bottle of water as well. He soon came into view of the courts, and lo and behold! There was his new-found friend Elliott Laurier! He grinned, watching his friend as he entered the courts. "Elly! What a fine addition to this wonderful day. What on earth are you doing here, of all places?" He set down the bottle of water, tennis ball container, and racket and smiled at the other boy, cocking his head cutely to the side.

Noire head whipped around, cheek smushed against the vinyl mesh of the racket. Again, Elly was struck by the other boys prettyfulness, then he stopped staring for a moment to speak and turn his body all the way around so that he was now looking through the mesh of the racket that was stuffed down the collar of his shirt. "Playing." he stated simply. A cheeky smile curling across his peirced lips, he walked a few steps to close the distance between the two males to a more conversational distance. "You play tennis!" Here his aqua eyes widened, and he clawed his fingers at his own racket to try and dislodge it from his shirt. It fell out, and tumbled with a few clacks to the ground, of which Elly picked it up again. He twirled it in his hand, then stopped it by tightening his grasp.
"Help me play? I don't know on earth what I am supposed to even do with this thing." He poked Cove in the chest with the end of his racket, then waited for a reply. He thought of his sister again, why does she have to be coming here of all places!?!? Elliott shook his head, making his noir and crimson bangs flood the top half of his face, before he could move them to one side again where then tapped his chin rather lovingly. His tongue played with the inside of his lip ring, then he clasped it between his front teeth, and turned it around a little. Making the little bright pink ball on the outside, with the purple swirly marks start turning also.

Cove grinned at his friend, seeing the mess wires blocking his face. He stiffled a giggle and said,"Yes, a little. I'm far from the best, but it can be pretty fun, really. Especially if you don't worry too much about the rules." He winked at Elly, grinning and watching the racket fall, only to be scooped up and twirled a bit before being grasped firmly. His hair slid slightly into his eyes, and he brushed it aside, sweeping the hat from his head and placing it by his stuff on the ground. He then turned back to Elly.
Cove grinned, feeling the racket poking his chest, and said,"Of course! I'd be glad to! It isn't too terribly hard, especially if you don't worry about the rules and just try to hit it... Well, and try not to kill the other." He laughed a little and noted Elly playing with his lip ring, seeing the pink and purple swirls moving, and he shook his head slightly to fix his hair, which was currently sticking to his head slightly from the hat. It loosened a bit, and he brushed it out of his eyes. "Well, you wanna get started? I can't promise to make you a pro, but I can help you get the basics." He winked at him again, grabbing his racket and the container of tennis balls.

Elliott chuckled and swung the racket around, the air making a whoosh sound as it filtered through the tiny holes made by the criss crossing plastic. He flicked his black bangs from his face and stood on his side of the net, holding his racket rather awkwardly in front of him. What am I doing? I am the most athletically impaired kid if I ever saw one. Elliott had a glint in his eye that told that he was giggling inside, at himself...yet again. "I promise to try and not hit you with the ball Cove, most likely I will hit myself with it." he said with a crooked boyish smile.
He scuffed his feet against the floor for a moment, trying to get the pantlegs out from under his shoes so that he didn't trip on them. How was he going to hit the ball? He had no hand eye cordination what so ever. "Maybe I should pretend its my sisters head, no...then I might run away from it." He said more to himself then to Cove. Aqua eyes fell back onto Cove on the other side of the net with a smile, "Alright...teach me then mista teach!"

Cove laughed and said,"That's good to know, but I think it would be best not to hit either of us with it." He then took the ball in his left hand and held the racket in his right. He then said,"Well, there's the serve, which isn't too difficult..." He then showed him tossing the ball into the air and aiming at it with the racket. However, he didn't hit it, and he caught it as it bounced back up from the ground. "Except you actually hit it. But you get the idea?"
He paused, tongue finding his lip ring, which had flipped a little and was turned the wrong way, and he adjusted it. "Now, when the ball comes to you, try and hit it. Hopefully you'll be able to hit it hard enough to clear the net and make it inside these lines..." He gestured at the lines. "I hope I'm not confusing you..." There was humor in those bright eyes of his now. "I think that's the basics of it... But we just try and pass it back and forth as much and as long as possible..." He then looked at him, lifting and eyebrow slightly. "Are you ready, or do you want to know more?" There was a pleasant smile in place, as usual. This day was turning out to be better than he had imagined...

Elly tried to fallow along, after a few moments he was just staring at Cove with saucer eyes. After Cove was done, Elly simply shook his head and gave a rather pathetic grin. "I have no clue what you just said..." he had walked over to the net and was now in the process of sitting on the top of it and bouncing up and down. Black hair had fallen down into his face, and he gave Cove a bigger grin. His fingers wrapped around the top of the net and he gave a bounce and flipped backward over the net, landing on his original side. "That...is much more fun." he says with a giggle and brush of the bangs from the face.

Cove laughed and said,"I bet!" He then shook his head lightly to remove his hair from his eyes before walking closer to Elly. He placed his hands on the net, leaning on it a little as he looked up at his friend. "I have a feeling we would be better off forgetting about the tennis..." He grinned and said,"We could always find some other way to entertain ourselves, couldn't we?" He then stepped over the net, sitting on Elly's side and facing him, head tilted to the side a little. He held the racket still, though it was more being used to rest his arms on in his lap.

Elly nodded in agreement, and his fingers wrapped around the nets top again as he did another back summersault/flip thing off of it to the other side then back again. His black jeans had fallen down off his slender hips to reveal his black and white striped boxers, and the chains that ratted their way this way and that clinked. Elly wiggled his eyebrows rather comically, ooooh was Cove-dearest hitting on Elliott? Elly sat still for a moment, aqua eyes squinted slightly as if making his mind up about something. Oh yes, and what a surprise something that would be. Black bangs fell down across his forehead, and he gave Cove a very charming smile, "And what is it that your are suggesting Cove?" he said, such a cheery child. He brought his fingers up to gently stroke the other boys cheek, then the surprise something happened, Elly's lips ever so gently swept across Cove's.
"Something like that then? Or...we could always just go find Gaara and the lot, go clubbing..." he raised an eyebrow, waiting for the other boys response. Oh yes, daring Elly...now he was hitting on Cove. The other boy deserved it though, coming all up in here looking so darn cute. Elly's face was quite near Cove's his nose nearly touching the other boy's. A smile tugging at the edges of his mouth to give him what was looked to be quite the satisfied grin.

Elly did a few more backflips, and Cove just watched him, noting that his pants had slipped a little, revealing black and white striped boxers. Amusement flickered into Cove's eyes before darting away again, and soon the other boy was back on the starting side. Then he spoke, and Cove grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. And then Elly's fingers were stroking his cheek, and suddenly their lips met, ever-so-briefly. Cove was a little taken aback, as he hadn't been expecting that, but there was more to it. Just Elly's touch had sent a shiver down his spine, and he looked at the boy now.
He grinned at his next question, eyes sliding closed for a brief moment before they opened once more to meet Elly's own eyes, which were so close. He then felt a smile tug at the corners of his lips, and he didn't speak just yet. Instead, he allowed himself to lean forward just slightly. His own lips brushed over Elly's, lingering just a fraction of a second longer than Elly had, before he pulled away to where they had been a moment before. They were a hair's breadth away from each other now, and he felt the smile return. "Yeah... Something like that..." His smile widened slightly, emotions dancing in his eyes. Well, any doubts or regrets that may have surfaced -- though he doubted they would have anyway -- about him coming today were quickly stamped out and shoved under the rug.
Oh, this was worth the trip most certainly...

Ooooh, what a pleasent-er surprise! Elly thought as Cove kissed him back, and this one lasted a bit longer before the other boy pulled away to comment. "Oh reh-eally?" Elliott remarked, one eyebrow raised into the forelock of black hair that was his bangs. His tongue gently flicked at the back of the lipring, before he smiled thoughtfully. "This could very well be entertaining..." The boy leaned closer to Cove again, his lips just about to touch Cove's again, when suddenly all of Elly dissapeared. He looked up at Cove from the ground, he had fallen off the net. His long legs drapped in their chains all tangled, and the palms of his hands dug into the ground. He gave a sheepish smile, this definatly was entertaining. Should make it into a sport, kissing on a net.. hah!.
Elly grabbed Cove's hand and pulled him off the net onto the ground beside him, before lunging at the other boy before he got his wits back about him. Elly's mouth hit its mark, as his long body drapped slightly over Cove's. Entertaining indeed.

Cove grinned and whispered,"Yeah. Reh-eally." His eyes sparkled with something even he could not identify, but he was perfectly happy not worrying with thsoe details just yet. Later, after the delightful Elly was not around to distract him, he just might start to think over things. But now? Heck no. Now, he was going to enjoy this. "It certainly could..." the smaller boy whispered, and then Elly was moving closer. Their lips were almost touching when suddenly, there was no Elly. Confused, if not a little disoriented, he looked down and found the Fina.
Then, suddenly, his hand was taken and used to pull him onto the ground, and he fell down next to Elly, letting out a little "Ooof!" as he hit the ground, though a smile still curved his lips at this, and he even chuckled a bit. However, before he could get his bearings again, a body was draping itself over him slightly and Elly's lips were on his once more, and he stopped worrying about everything else. Heck, he even forgot that they were in the public tennis court... None of that seemed to matter right now. His eyes had slipped closed, and he was slowly giving in more and more. Mmm. If Elly didn't stop this, he might just have to jump him every time he saw him. Yes, entertaining was certainly one way to describe it, but... Oh, was it an understatement...

He smiled into Cove's lips, and his tongue gently ran across the other boys bottom lip flicking up against the lipring. His own clicked as it tapped against Cove's and he let his tongue wander back into his own mouth and away from Cove's closed lips. My, Elly was starting to have a grand day. A hand came up to thread his fingers through Cove's black hair, careful to not kill the hairstyle that he was rocking. Thumb gently brushed against the other boy's jaw and he deepened the kiss. Wow, he had to stop soon, lest this turn into a huge make out fest...which would be fun but incrediably dangerous to a friendship. Gaara and Elly had hardly made it out of those depths a few months back, but now were both quite comfortable with their friendship and weren't fallowing it anywhere.
Elly drew his face back away from Cove's, a cheeky smile stretching across his face. Ooooh soo much fun! I feel like dancing...dancing...dancing. Hah I can't beleive I remember that weird song off that crazy muggle movie. He boy giggled, and to anyone else it was pretty much a random sound. He then stood up extending his hand out toward Cove. "What do you say we go now...before we tread into the lurking shadows." He had grabbed his tennis racket with the other hand, and gave it a twirl in his palm. Aqua eyes seemed to laugh, as he waited for Cove to grab his hand so he could help the other boy up.
