Professors and Aurors
Name: Sasha di Angelico
Blood: Muggleborn
Gender: Male
Pet Race: Raven
Pet Name: Magilio (Mag for short)
Pet Gender: Male
Description: Mag is a large jet black raven, with a sharp steely beak and rather ominous looking talons. He is very intelligent for a bird, and can even mimic people's voices, and certain sounds. Sasha uses Magilio for delivering messages, and small parcels, but he's really just there for the company most of the time.
Job Applying For: Music Teacher
Why/Biography: Sasha was born in a nice big house, out in the middle of nowhere in the North of France. His family is wealthy, his father being some old silly Italian Lord, and his mother was a somewhat younger ditzy French Lady, dumped on father with a sizable dowry, so everyone was happy. Sasha is the third youngest of seven children (Terio, Diao, Tanyia, Fara, Amios, and Darioce, in that order). His mother and father never had very high hopes for him, for he wasn't the oldest, strongest, smartest or the most handsome of the di Angelico children. All they wanted from him was some good healthy grandchildren from a good honest woman, and perhaps for him to take up some sort of respectable and reliable profession - but Sasha wasn't interested in a cozy family life, or anything particularly academic. From the word go, it was all about the music. Of course, his parents disapproved, and were direly disappointed when Sasha announced at the tender age of sixteen that he was leaving to pursue a career in music, and join, perhaps, some traveling theater troupe, or something. He did exactly that, though unfortunately, due to a series of unfortunate and quite tragic events, he was forced to seek something a little more reliable: teaching!
Age: 22
Birthday: 3rd January
Likes: Music - of course, grandeur, velvet, darkness, violins, pianos, entertaining, manners, attention, snow, fur and his older brother Amios.
Dislikes: Garish things, cheap wine, hot weather, being under pressure, tacky things and rude people, particularly younger people.
Favorite Food: Anything homemade and wholesome
Least Favorite Food: High processed food
Favorite Color: Dark blue, or crimson.
Personality: Sasha is, to put it quite simply, an old fashioned gentleman of sorts, and likes being that way. He's polite, and well mannered, with a ferocious temper and a certain slick strangeness about him. Despite being quite volatile, he rarely raises his voice, unless he is very, very wound up, or quite drunk (which he is often, being young and stupid still). He's quite the charmer, with an eye for the ladies (or any thing with legs, really) and a blatant disregard for the rules which can, and does land him in bother quite often. No doubt, it will eventually be his downfall. Sasha can act a little bit bratish at times, and self centered, though this is really just because he came from a wealthy family, and spending sixteen years sharing everything with six other siblings had left him rather possessive about his possessions.
Physical Appearance: Sasha, despite his apparently feminine name (which is really just a Russia nickname for Alexander, which was the name of his mother's Russian father), doesn't look particularly girlish. He is about average height, with a slender, but muscular build, wide shoulders, and narrow hips. He has a full head of thick, wavy, shoulder length dark blonde hair, mischievous blue eyes, and a generous and expressive mouth, chiseled cheekbones, and interestingly pale skin. His dress sense could be described as toned down new romantic, which would technically be old romantic, with the white shirts, and the dark breeches, and leather boots, and mid-length tailored beautiful jackets. There isn't really such a thing as 'casual' when it comes to dressing, for him. A pair of jeans and a t-shirt is something he'd never be caught dead in.
Other: Sasha really just took the job at Beauxbatons for somewhere to stay, and a wage packet, even if it was the modest salary of a teacher. He's also very glad that his class isn't compulsory, so there wouldn't be too many difficult/reluctant students to handle.
