He smiled and said,"I kinda got that much..." He sipped from the beer, blinking slowly a few times. He was pretty tired, having been working through most of the morning. Damn inventory. Ah, well, he was the owner of Shaded Nights, and it was in the job discription. Besides Matt was far too busy being off with Felicia, and he really wasn't going to ruin that for them.
He looked back at her as she spoke. "You're in the back room of Shaded Nights. It's kinda where we go to chill out or camp out overnight if it's really busy or late or something. Or if one of us drinks too much and passes out or something." He smiled slightly. Matt had spent many a night here, and he had spent a few, but for far different reasons. He just didn't want to go back to the school. He preferred it here. Alone. It was so much more... peaceful. And he felt better surrounded by beer and distractions than in a dark room surrounded by happy people. It sucked to be the odd one out, huh?

"Oh, well thank you for your hospitality" She said smiling sincerely. Ash thought maybe she had better get going, she stood up only to find the room spinning and a small throb at her temple. She sat back down abuptly, "Okay, maybe I will be sitting here a little longer" she said, mostly to herself. She ran her hand through her choclate waves, pulling them back and securing them in a half pony tail with an elastic that had been around her wrist. She took a cracker and ate it rather quickley. She watched Adam silently, hazel eyes blinking every now and then. When she realized that she was staring she started, and realized she was probably weirding him out. She adverted her gaze to the crackers and continued nibbling on them.
Finally, she said "How long does a hang over last?" Ash knew she sounded rather like a kid, but she had never gotten so drunk before that she had a hangover. Her chocolate gaze returning to Adam as she waited for an answer. Fiddling with the hem of her blue skirt. [/color]

He noted the staring, but he didn't say anything. He, in fact, had been concentrating on the ceiling, having pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. He felt her eyes on him, and he looked at her, noting that her eyes averted to the crackers. Interesting. He took the cigarette from his mouth, blowing the smoke to his left, away from them both. He held the cigarette in his hand as he looked back at her. "Well. It takes about 24 hours before all the symptoms are gone..." He smiled bitterly. "Drink plenty of water. That's the main thing..."

Ash groaned rather dramatically, then shook her head. "Well, I suppose as soon as I can walk without falling on my ass I should get out of here so that you can return to...what ever it is you do here" She said, she grabbed the glass of water and took another sip, before nibbling on her crackers again. Ash tugged rather self conciously at her skirt, trying in vain to make it longer. She felt horrible, and a little exposed. Finally she sighed and just leaned her head back against the backframe, looking up at the ceiling again.
"So your the one that owns this pub yeh? I can't beleive the teachers let you actually run one while attending school, that is so crazy" she said softly, starting to feel a little drowsy from the migrain pills she had taken. Her eyes fluttered, lashes gently touching her cheeks, before her eyes opened again. The pools of brown looking now a little lazy and like she wasn't really there at that exact moment.

He laughed and said,"Truthfully, they don't give a damn. Really. Besides, they're too busy with their own lives. I mean, I don't even know if they know I own it. They just know about it, and that some of us work here." He shrugged. "I really don't care, though. I've never been one to take what other's say to heart, especially teachers."
He raised an eyebrow. "Well, when you can manage that, we'll figure out a way to get you home... I could always see if Matt could spare the time, but we'll figure all that out later..." He noted she looked sleepy and smiled a little. "Right now, you look like you could take a nap..."
