After much stumbling about on both the second floor and the first, Braeden Andrews and Elizabeth James had finally reached their destination: Elizabeth's office. They had spent most of the night drinking at the party in the staff room that had been thrown by Headmistress Adeline Darcy, and were now clearly, undeniably drunk.
This, and the fact that they had to cling to each other to actually manage to walk down two floors, was the main reason it had took so long to reach the staff offices and rooms. Braeden had almost led her down to his classroom by mistake, which was where he was used to going most of the time for work, and would have, if he had not noticed the difficult set of stairs that led down to the dungeons.
Now, though, he was - with some difficulty - turning the very last corner onto the staff offices corridor, leaning onto Elizabeth. He managed to spot her familiar office door, and stumbled over to it. His vision kept changing, though, seeing doubles of things, so he was most probably facing the wall at that particular moment in time.
"We are here, my dear!" he exclaimed, a small laugh escaping his mouth as he said it. "Hey, that rhymes..."
{RUBBISH. YOUR TURN, HARR. }

Elizabeth had stumbled down those flights of stairs -- they really needed something more drunk-proofed than stairs -- alongside Braeden, and now they were outside her office. She laughed at his words, reaching out and somehow managing to unlock and open the door, after much fumbling and drunken swearing. She stumbled inside, nearly falling, and pulled Braeden in with her. The door shut behind them, and she turned to him, looking up at him with a grin on her face. "We're here, darling..." Hey, why not? He was giving her pet names, so why couldn't she return the favor?
((GAH. Lame-ness to da max.))

"We are," he agreed. "But I shouldn't be." He shrugged clumsily, staring at her, and murmured, "I was only supposed to be escorting you to your door, wasn't I? This is classed as... er..." Brae thought for a moment, scratching his chin in a thoroughly unattractive way. "behind it, y'know?"
He moved around Elizabeth and leaned against the door, back flat against the wood. "I really should be going..." He stressed the word 'should' with a smile, obviously meaning that he didn't actually want to. "But not without a kiss goodbye, of course." He grinned, staring at her for a second, before leaning off the door and onto Elizabeth. He was going to kiss her on the cheek, but then his drunken mind thought, 'ah, what the hell, I might as well do it properly if I'm gonna kiss her at all', and so he did.
His lips pressed against hers, but only briefly; God knows he wished it wasn't. After pulling away he smirked, placing a hand on the handle of the door. He hoped against hope that she'd say wait, or something to make him stay... But that was all up to her.
He didn't even think to look out for her dog.
{I'm sorry. Mine was way lamer than yours (our posts are FABBITY FAB) but I really wanted to get things started. -dies slowly-}

She laughed and said,"Yes, I believe it is classified as 'behind it.'" When he mentioned a kiss good night, she smiled, sharing the kiss with him briefly. Dang it. She wasn't going to settle for just something like that. Well, her drunken self wasn't...
She put her hands on his shoulders and said,"You think I'm going to let you leave after that? Come on. I know you can do better than that." She grinned teasingly at him before pressing her lips to his, eyes sliding closed. She lingered for a much longer time than he did, but she didn't seem to care. In fact, she was rather enjoying it.
Oh yes, the dog. Said animal was currently watching the two with lazy eyes, guessing where this was going. He rolled his eyes in a seemingly human manner and walked to the window, managing to nose it open and slip outside. He really didn't want to see that...
((xDDDD I just HAD to put that last part.))

"I did think you were going to let me leave- but thankfully, I was wrong for once." Braeden grinned, kissing her back as slowly as he could, in an almost teasing manner. He didn't care how long she lingered; in fact, he hoped it would be a long time. He pulled away after a second, and murmured, "I hope that was a little better... or maybe this..." He kissed Elizabeth again, deeper this time, tongue slipping into her mouth. His hands went automatically to her waist, pulling her closer.
{OMG. THAT WAS A SHORT POST OF MINE. And well done on the doggy post. ^^; Oh, and at the very end of my last post I meant to put "your posts are FAB" instead of "our posts". xD}

She grinned and said,"Yes. Definitely..." Before she could say anything else, though, his mouth was against hers once more. This time his tongue joined in the fun-making, and she parted her mouth to let him in. She felt his hands on her waist, and her own slipped up around his neck. Well, that was... unexpected.
((xP Whenever you're ready, we can take it to PM or whatever you wanna do. ^^))

Several hours later, middle of the night.
Bright green eyes opened quickly, their owner jumping slightly in shock and clutching the sheet that was covering his strangely bare body. He had just had the weirdest dream... about Elizabeth James. There had been alcohol- God yes, a lot of that.
Still thinking, Braeden turned onto his side, where he undoubtedly got one of the biggest surprises of his life. He was in an unfamiliar bed with the certain young lady from the 'dream' he had just had. At the sight of Elizabeth, memories flooded back into his not-so-confused, horrified mind. What had he done? More importantly: why had he done it?
Shaking his head in awful disbelief, Braeden slid off the bed, trying his hardest to be silent and relatively still. Grabbing his trousers he pulled them on quickly, stuffing his underwear into one of the pockets, and draped on his shirt, not doing up any of the buttons. Where was his jacket? Had he left it at the party? Never mind, he just had to get out of here... How could he have been so stupid, drunk and careless to have let this happen? How could he have been stupid enough to get drunk in the first place?
Striding across the room he pulled open the door, forgetting a couple of important things; one, to be quiet, and two, his wand, which had been whacked across the room when he yanked the door open. The door slammed, cutting off the sliver of light that had shone inside.
{LAME, SORRY. If you just post once on here, to show Lizzie waking up, then on the board I'm about to make. Plus, if by any chance your last PM post is on the end of the one I just sent... ignore it. xDD}

Elizabeth awoke as Braeden began to move, though she didn't open her eyes. She slowly realized what had happened, and the warmth beside her soon moved. She opened her eyes just slightly so she could see him quickly dressing and leaving. She watched as he closed the door, heading to his own office.
She got out of the bed, holding the sheets to her. She then managed to find a robe near the bed. She slipped on her underwear and bra and slipped into her robe. She sat on the bed, but a sound from Braeden's office brought her to her feet. Voices and crashes. That was certainly NOT normal. She opened the door, making a run for Braeden's office...
