[ why? ] Cove met Serphius at the waterfall along with Lexi, Elly, Gaara, Emerald, and Matt. Oh, and Emerald's dog. He became fast friends with the group, and they all eventually just started to hang out with each other, though Matt and Emerald had their own little group. He met up with him later when Serphius was terribly distraught over Lexi and Felicia after the attack. Though it was mostly over Lexi, and Cove comforted him and listened to them. It was then that Cam, Elly's cousin, appeared and things got rather interesting...

[ why?] Cam has been shadowing Serphius since Phoenix was put into the hospital wing. In a way, Cam is nearly an identical shadow to the older boy, but he won't dare come close enough to be touched and words seem to fail for Cam so he just sits in silence. First time he ran into Serphius was in the Common Room, for a short visit, then falling out a tree and nearly into Cove's lap put a new spin on things, now having to confront the fact that Cam has been fallowing Serphius around.
