"Yeah." Adela said, laughing, "But that's only when I'm in the midst of a severe manic episode, but that doesn't happen often." She shrugged. "Well, I'm glad I'm fun too!" She paused to grin, "Yeah! We should do it!"
"Yeah, I bet!" Adela said. "They actually have to do it manually." She laughed, grinning.
Adela grinned happily, thinking to herself about her new friend. She's really nice, shy like me too. Certainly glad I talked to her. And to think I almost didn't!

Caitriona pretended to laugh a little shakily when Adela mentioned 'severe manic episodes' (which don't, by the way, sound very pretty at all) and how they didn't happen that often, and said, "Well, that's good to know." She smiled properly again. "Yeah. In the summer we'll be right down there- though then all the proper beaches will be open, too. Which will be kind of better."
Seriously; if Dela thought that Caitie was shy, then she should meet Lauren-Kate, her older sister. It would have taken a lot longer to get Laurie to warm up to a stranger, on her own in the library. She might just have ran away, truthfully.

Adela almost shuddered, thinking of her last manic episode. She'd attacked her older sister, Alexjandra with a butcher knife. The only reason she wasn't in jail was that she had a mental disease.
"Yeah, being manic isn't fun. I can't hold onto a thought, I cry a lot, and I try and hurt everyone around me." Adela said, sighing, "Depression is in some ways worse though." SHe shrugged.
"And yeah, it sounds likeso much fun. usually I go alone."
(Aw, she sounds like fun. I should have an outgoing guy go after her. XD)

Mental note to self: make sure all butcher knives - and any other sharp objects - are hidden well, well away whenever Adela's around and in one of her moods. Caitriona supposed that, as they became better friend's, she's actually come to be able to recognize when the moods would come after certain patterns of behaviour. Until then... she'd just have to be lucky and remain not-stabbed and in one whole piece. And she was glad that Adela wasn't in jail, anyway.
Caitie bit down on her thumb nail and thought for a moment. "You sound like my big sister Violetta every 'time of her month'. Jesus. Now that is one crazy mood-swinging girl. Last month, she tried to break Finn's leg because he'd moved her favourite lip-gloss." She shook her head, smiling. "It was fekking scary."
Yeah, fekking. Heh, you know. The Irish.
"I'd have ended up going alone, too, if I hadn't've met you. Which is why it's good that I have! When the warm weather - finally - comes around we'll have our beach stuff right away." She laughed. "We will be the beach babes."
{Yeah! It doesn't even have to be a guy. *shifty eyes* Laurie secretly bats for both sides. Or, at least, she will do when I actually write her application.}

{Okay. ^^ I have a set of twins go after her...'cause it sounds like fun! Whoot, go plottingness! XD}
Actually, she hadn't even managed to get at her sister before her mother used a tranquilzer on her, but that was beside the point. Adela watched Caitie warily, smiling.
"She tried to break his leg? That's a bit...extreme. All because of lipgloss?" Adela asked, eyes wide, mouth slightly agape. She shook her head a little.
"Beach babes?" Adela asked, grinning as she imagine Caitie and herself running- Slow-mo -Down the beach. She burst into laughter. "Sounds like loads of fun."
