Bea entered Shaded Nights behind Jason, shielding her eyes when she first entered, then slowly adjusting to the sudden lighting. She had entered the club twice before, so she was a little used to the pumping rock music and the drunks. She looked questionly at Jason, wondering where to go. Jason lead her over to the bar and they both sat down ((sorry Katie, I needed to move them along xD)).
Bea was in the mood to forget her past and ordered some Vodka Shots, ignoring the bartenders glance. She turned to Jason, hoping he wouldn’t protest about the drinking. She’d only got drunk three times before, and vodka shots would definitely take a big effect on her, but she pushed this information aside and grinned happily when three arrived in front of her. She payed the bartender and looked at Jason to see what he ordered, then turned back to her drink and drowned all three of her vodka shots in a minute, feeling the drink take effect almost immediately.
She swayed slightly in her chair, then smiled happily, wanting some more as the alcohol swept through her veins. She ordered three more, paying the bartender and drinking one more.
She turned to Jason again, realising how attractive he looked in the lighting (or maybe that was the alcohol? Bea wasn’t so sure). “So..?” She mumbled, the music suddenly sounded much louder and pumped in her head, making her wince slightly.

Jason watched Beatrix down the shots like a pro, one of his eyebrows raised as he did so. She was drinking those awfully fast. A few more at this pace and she'd be on the floor. He knew this for a fact; there had been many times, a couple years back, when Finn had dragged him out of bars - or, occasionally, the shed in the backyard - when he'd drank so much he could barely speak, let alone support his bodyweight with one pair of legs alone.
She'd had, what? Four already? This date (as it kind of was a date, if you thought about it technically) was speeding along faster than any he'd ever been on before, and he hadn't even had a drink himself yet. That would have to be resolved. "I'll have whatever she's havin'," Jason said, eying the shots with his grey eyes before tossing a large amount of coins down. "And use th' resta that money to get her whatever else she wants," he added afterwards, with a smile.
His drink appeared in front of him and he downed it in one, putting the glass back on the counter with a loud clack. "Ahh, the joys of vodka." He glanced at Bea as she spoke. "Yes, so... do you come out drinkin' like this often, Miss. Kingston? If so, I've cer'ainly misjudged you."

"Actually this is my fourth time." Bea slurred in response to his question. She didn't bother saying anything else, she was drowning another shot. "Thanks for the money." She slurred again, indicating the money Jace had payed. She held onto her stool with both hands, swaying slightly.
"Misjudged me? How so?" She asked, trying to remember his last name. "Mr Brady." She added when she remembered, giggling at his last name even though there was nothing remotely funny about it at all. She stopped laughing a couple of seconds later, asking herself silently what caused her to laugh in the first place, but she dismissed it.
She drunk her last shot, pushing the empty container thing away. The tiny bit of her sensible mind told her to stop, but her drunken side screamed at her for more drink, and she obeyed that side, but waited for Jason to order some more before she did, feeling the sudden urge to giggle again.
((I can't be bothered to type slurred words, so just use your imagination xD))

Jason winced. Her fourth time? These shots would have a worse effect on her than he'd expected. "Pleasure," he then said, in response to her thanks. He pushed the warnings to the back of his mind.
At her question, he grinned, and replied with a chuckle, "Well, you're Beatrix Kingston, right?. Just because I hadn' learned your name before today don't mean I don't know ya, to a cer'ain extent, anyway. I know that you're pretty decent in class. I know that you're somewhat sensible. I know that I piss you off when I throw paper balls at your partners in lessons. I definitely know that you looked at me today when I came up t'you like I was gonna infect you with somethin' nasty." He shrugged. "You're classy. Reasonably so, at least. I jus' di'nt see you sittin' in a bar gettin' smashed with a guy people label 'jackass'."
He ordered two more shots, knocking one back and pushing the other towards Beatrix. "It jus' don' exactly fit, y'know?"

"That is true. I think." She nodded, knowing that what he said was true, he annoyed her when he chucked around paper balls in class, and she had thought exactly that when he came up to her about half-hour ago.
"I just think it's time I forgot my past for once. Besides, I like to do things people don't expect." She said, slurring at everything she said.
She noticed two people in the corner, 'getting to know each other' and pulled a face like a child. "Ewww." She said, giggling and turning back to Jason. "That's disgustingly funny." She said, laughing uncontrollably for something not even that funny.
She stopped laughing after a minute, drowning the shot Jason pushed to wards her and now feeling completely drunk. (Well, she was.) She nearly fell off her stool backwards and held onto the bar for her life. "Oopsieees!" She said, giggling again.

Jason raised one eyebrow. "Yes... alcohol does come in handy for forgettin' the past, I gotta admit... And hell, it's fun to do somethin' people don' expect, right?" This almost made his smirk falter; his personality and rebellious acts had just started to get predictable over the last year. Nobody gasped anymore when the were told that Jace O'Malley had smashed the Owlery window, or got a month's detention or caused destruction in a Charms lesson, involving lots of alcohol and a broomstick.
Everyone just, I don't know, saw it coming nowadays, and it kind of bothered Jason a little. He had always been famous for being somewhat unpredictable in his actions. Being predictable was odd.
Jason glanced over his shoulder at the couple practically sexing each other up in public, and rolled his eyes. He turned half around to face Beatrix again, with a, "Yeah, I guess it kinda- hey, is that my sister?!" He whirled around again at this, but was distracted by Bea nearly falling off her stool and turned yet again. He leaned forward and caught her by the upper arms, pulling her slowly back towards him and upwards so that she could balance again. He didn't let go of her arms.

"Your sister? Where?" Bea asked, looking around for Jason's sister, but turning back to Jason when he caught her. He didn't let go of her arms and a strange feeling left her skin tingling. She smiled up at him. "Thanks for that." She said, forgetting all about Jason's sister.
She looked into Jason's eyes, noticing they were grey-blue. She smiled at this, leaning a little closer to inspect his eyes. "You have nice eyes." She commented, not noticing how close they were.

Jason let go of her arms at hearing her thanks, one of his hands returning to the counter to tap out a beat absently to the music, the other resting on his knee. He glanced around the room, letting the music fill him from the inside out, just listening in the small silence between him and Beatrix.
His vision was back on her again, however, as she clumsily leaned forward, mentioning his eyes. "Thanks," he replied, with a grin. "So do you." His eyes flicked from hers, down to her mouth, back up again, and down, before he added, "And you have a nice mouth. A kissable mouth." Well, she was drunk. Why not? He might as well push his luck, because life was for living.

Beatrix was drunk. So she didn't think much of it when she thought about kissing Jace. I mean, wasn't that what drunk people do? And she didn't want to break tradition.
She grinned, leaning even more forward and pressing her lips to Jason's, before leaning back again. She didn't say anything, hoping he wouldn't reject her, even though she forgot about Daniel for now. "Do you still think that now?" She asked, smiling again.

Jason didn't respond when Bea kissed him, as it surprised him just a little. His lips did curl into a smile against hers, though, as he mused over the fact that he was actually starting to quite like this girl, despite the fact that she was only a bet, only a bet... only a bet. He'd won the bet! Well, that was certainly something to be happy over, right?
When she pulled back, Jace's eyes were a little blank, but then he grinned. "I think it even more so, now." Then he moved his stool close to hers again, pulling her near again by the waist and kissing her once more. Because, of course, he assumed that she'd want more than one kiss. Or, at least, that she'd give him one out of pity, or else she'd be a cruel, cruel person to tease him in this way.
But he doubted she'd push him off. He just had this feeling.

Beatrix wrapped her arms round his neck, his kisses seemed to make her a little sober, though not completely. She fingered some of his hair, liking the feeling this kiss send through her skin. She had no idea she was only a bet, but she really was starting the like this guy, even though they had only met about an hour ago.
A lot could happen in an hour. She didn't want to pull away, though she wondered if she should. She finally pulled away, a smile playing on her lips. "Mr Brady, I do believe you find an interest in my mouth." She said, laughing at the use of Jason's last name. She laughed so hard she nearly fell off her stool, nearly strangling Jason in the progress, seeing as she had her arms round his neck.
"Oops! Sorry, is there a way I can make it up to you?" She said without thinking.

Oh yes, did she respond indeed... Her slim arms went around his neck and her hands lost themselves in his hair, and it was a good just the Bea pulled away because, let me tell you now, there was no way he would have. She may have been 'just a bet', but it didn't mean that he wasn't male and she wasn't female and he wasn't attracted to her. He was attracted to her, very much so, and whether this was based on a bet or not, he wanted to carry on.
Jace's breathing was a little heavy as he listened to her speak, and he nodded, grey eyes flicking from Bea's lips to her eyes again, just as he had before. The whole 'intense stare' part of the moment was lost, however, as Beatrix slipped on the stool from her laughter and nearly fell. He was dragged down a little as she went, but she caught her balance and neither of them went colliding to the floor. Thank God; she might have wanted to stop the kissing if she got bruised.
"Mm, actually, there is a way," he murmured. "My neck. Ow. Kiss it better?"

"It hurts that bad, huh?" Bea said, a smirk on her face and she kissed his neck before returning to his lips again, wrapping one hand round his waist and the other to play with his hair again, before resting it on the back of his neck.
She smiled into the kiss, opening her mouth a little and enjoying the feeling, even though she was drunk. She pulled away, regretting it but having to ask a question. "Does this make you feel better?" She whispered, resting her forehead on his, smiling at him, her eyes sparkling.
