Liz raised her leg to his knee level, letting him study the soles of her sneakers. "See these," she responded, "these things are called Pumas. Muggle contraptions- but very good. If they're not wet, they can walk as silent as a cat's paws. And, besides, who says I'm supposed to stomp around like I own the place, letting everyone know I'm there. It's not like anyone's at all interested." Liz slapped herself in her mind. Why did she always have to include self-pity when conversations got friendly. Maybe, she thought, it was the deeper level of her that she drew out that scared people so much. Gah. It's so tough, sometimes, being a girl and not having the excuse of a guy to be annoying and arrogant.

Ooc:Urgh, writer's block.
Bic: Yuan sighed and looked over her sneakers trying to seem interested. He didn’t find shoes interesting at all, he just wore whatever his feet felt comfortable in. He would have been more interested if she said something like, ‘See this mascara?’ Or ‘Does this top make me look...’ And so on. He couldn’t help being such a feminine person, he just liked things such as a woman’s beauty. He blinked as she spoked and looked up into her eyes before responding. “I’m interested otherwise I wouldn’t have even started conversation with you,” He paused before adding, “Whether it became hostile or not.” Yawning, he leaned back in his chair and stretched, his arms above his head.

"How sweet," she mumbled, her eyes drawing away from the face of another hypocrite nestled in the body of a seemingly noble human being. "Anyway, what is it that makes you so 'interested', as you now put it? I don't even dare," she smirked evilly, "to ask you what makes you so hostile..."
