Jon was in the highest of spirits on the day. The weather was pleasant- the sun shone nicely in the azure sky, as the occasionall shadow dropped the heat a bit. Flowers bloomed on the boulevard, their petals falling off and flying in the gentle breeze along the shiny cobblestones. Shops attracted customers like honey attracts flies, and cafes were alive with the joyful hustle-bustle of waiters and cooks. Ah, Paris! John had indeed decided to take his new (hopefully) fiancee out into the muggle world- away from Cici and other nasty gossipers, so they could have some fun away from it all. Since he new that she had seen the centre of Paris, he took her out into the older part of town- the narrow streets filled with bright colours and delicious smells. A couple people already knew him there- there was the baker, the muggle street boys, the fat lady in the window- they all waved to him and greeted him in French, and it somehow reminded him of the movie 'Beauty and the Beast." He was dressed in an elegant green coat, complete with silver buttons and the family crest embroidered on the sleeves in pure silver thread. He was walking with his famous walking 'pimp' stick- the one with the dragon's head. They had locked arms, and in the other hand she carried the humongous bouquet of red roses that he had given her when they met that morning. He tried not to look at her face- but he thought she was smiling. And he was too. It is rare that you get to walk down the streets with a girl both stunningly beautiful and wonderfully kind.

Chasidia was amazingly happy, she had hope again and was sure that everything would be good, nothing would go wrong. She glanced down once more to the red roses in her hand, they smelled wonderful and she was still smiling, resting her head against his shoulder as they walked.
The red roses complimented her dress extremely well, a dark emerald green halter top dress. It fell to just above her knees, flaring out from her waist where a white belt was balanced.
"Where are we going..?" She asked softly, raising her head to look up at him as they walked.
Today would be a good day.

"A place, my sweet," Jon replied, planting a kiss on her forehead, "where no one will take you but I. You can betcha socks on that- most guys will, I promise, only earn you a one-way to their bed. Whilst I am, of course, being the caring person that I am, will probably buy you a coffee before I get you pregnant." There was an uncomfortable silence from his date, who was clearly unused to this amount of honesty. "Just joking!" he laughed, "let's go!"

She smiled as he kissed her forehead, head still resting on his shoulder as they walked. true she had been a bit iffy on going out with him, but it did seem a lot better then she'd hoped for. She did indeed go silent for a few moments at his comment, looking down before he told her he was joking. She laughed softly a bit of a smile (though it was almost a nervous grin) on her lips as she nodded her head. "All right, I do want to know where we're going though..."

"Erm, well... I'm just gonna take you around Paris- to all the nice non-tourist places, I mean- I do trust that you have seen that countless times already..." He smirked. "And, if you like, I could probably take you on a spontaneous broom ride in the dazzling night sky.... You know, around the neon lights of the Paris nighlife..." He raised a comically inquiring eyebrow, sniggering at himself. Then he turned to his date, "you know, that came out wrong..."

"Oh that sounds very spontaneous." She said laughing softly, you couldn't exactly be spontaneous if it was pre planned could you? She didn't know, but frankly she didn't care. it did sound quite enjoyable and she was looking forward to an interesting day.
"Nah, it sounds fine. I'm up for anything really."

They walked out of the small street onto a big boulevard. Flowers bloomed in flower pots fastened to wide-open windows, and pigeons hovered over a statue of a renaissance thinker situated in the middle of the street. He led her into a caffe, where he was greeted by the cute waitress, and they sat down in the shade of a wide oak tree.

Chasidia followed him, eyes looking around, it really was a beautiful site. "This is a nice place," she said as she looked around, eyes stopping back on him. "do you come here often?" She asked as she brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Kind of. When I want peace from the school brats..." he replied, deciding to drop the old story of his small romance with one of the waitresses... What she doesnt' know won't hurt her...

"Oh." She said softly nodding her head, "Well it is a beautiful place to escape too." She said looking around again, looking down at the flowers in her lap, running a hand over the petals.

He called up the waitress and ordered two coffees. "I'm not even going to ask what you want... I'm evil like that..." he smirked as he grabbed her hand and kissed it tentatively.

Chasidia smiled as he kissed her hand, "I don't mind. Coffee is fine." She said shrugging her shoulders slightly, she didn't drink a lot of coffee, but it wasn't like she hated it.

"So, erm, anyway, how's, um, school?" Jon asked, a little nervous.
