Aimee had been simply on Cloud 9 ever since she had made up with Alex. She had went from extremely depressed to extremely happy all in one day, and now, a week later, she was simply ecstatic. Things were going great, and she was completely happy with him. To her, there were no other guys in the world besides Alex. Well, not besides Matt. Matt had become like the older brother figure, and she was glad to have him there. He was like her conscience at times when she simply forgot to think.
She walked through the garden, dressed in a simple pair of dark blue jeans and a white shirt. It fit a little tight, but it looked very elegant on her. Her hair fell in relaxed curls down her back and over her shoulders, the highlights standing out as the sun began to rise. She watched it as it came up, holding a single red rose in her hand. She had picked it from the garden, and it was beautiful. It was perfect to her. She thought of giving it to Alex. It seemed silly, but it was just the sort of thing she would do.
She was lost in her thoughts by then, thinking of every moment with him. She loved him. She knew that. And not once did Adam McElroy pop into her mind. Ever. She was happier than she could ever remember being, and she didn't plan on screwing things up again. Her lips curved into a smile as the sun rose, and she lifted the rose to her nose, inhaling the sweet aroma. It was beautiful. It was perfect. Just like this day was perfect, and just like her and Alex were perfect. They were a perfect match... Right?

It just so happened that the Alexander Aindrea in question - not like there was any other, of course - had also decided to take a little stroll through Le Jardin de la Beaute. Oh, alright. Maybe he had seen his girlfriend heading that way in advance, but still. He was there.
Alex slid into the beautiful place in time to see Aimee standing still, rose in hand, simply watching the sun slowly rise up in the sky. He stepped up behind her silently, wrapping his arms around her from where he was standing. Lips close to her ear, he murmured, "Hmm... I guess I came a little too late, huh?" The sun was almost fully up in the sky, now.
Warmth was spreading over the gardens and the school, taking away the brief chilliness that darkness gave. The chiliness that had caused Alexander to wear a pair of long black jeans and a black, long-sleeved tee-shirt. "Oh, well," he whispered, kissing her ear gently. "Good morning, anyway."

Aimee felt arms wrap around her, and she started slightly before Alex's voice sounded in her ear. She smiled, turning her head to look at him. "Maybe just a little... But it's still beautiful..." Her arms folded over his, and her eyes closed as she let herself lean into his embrace. She held the rose in her right hand, carefully but not quite as before. She had a better companion now. "Yes. Good morning." She managed to kiss his chin from her current position, and she was reduced to stiffled giggles afterwards. She loved just being with him like this...

Alex smiled as he felt Aimee relax against him. "Yeah..." Sure, the rose was beautiful, but he could think of something much more. "You are..." Alexander moved around her slightly, this time catching her lips. He pulled away after a few seconds, and just looked at her for a while. "That's a nice shirt. Maybe later I can talk you out of it, hmm?" He said this with a playful grin, eyebrows raised suggestively.

She smiled, finding him in front of her with his lips on hers before she could even think of a response. When he pulled away, her lips curved into a big smile, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Her head rested against his chest, and she laughed slightly as he spoke again. She looked up at him, catching the playful grin and the raised eyebrows. "Well, that could definitely be a possibility... Though you should be careful, getting my hopes up like that. Because now I have to wait all day..." She grinned at him, raising up on tiptoe to gently kiss his lips before she lowered herself, pulling away, and smiled up into his eyes.

"Well... Maybe you don't have to wait all day... I only said 'later' because I - so obviously wrongly - assumed that you were a respectable, lady-like young woman who wouldn't approve of doing such things in the morning. I approve, of course, but I bet you thought that already..." Alex said with another grin, closing his eye briefly as she kissed his lips softly, licking his own and tasting her on them.
He leaned forward and kissed her own lips again, before trailing kisses along her jaw and down her neck, before simply resting his head on her shoulder and smiling. He enjoyed being around her, too.

She laughed and said,"Hmm. Well, that 'respectable, lady-like young woman' gave up a loooong time ago." She grinned and said,"Besides... What could relaxing the rules this once hurt?" She smiled, kissing him back. She leaned her head against his as he laid his head on her shoulder, and she whispered,"I love you, Alex." She smiled, her eyes closed. She didn't expect to hear it back, but she wanted him to know that she did. She needed him to know that.
((Okay. NOW done. xD))

"Well... that's... good, I guess," Alexander said, smiling. "Nothing. It couldn't hurt at all. Nobody. Never..." He kissed her neck once more, his head slightly tipping to one side. Moving away, he smiled again, and murmured in reply, "I know you do..."
No, he didn't say it back. Not yet. He still needed time, he supposed. Hey, maybe he did love her. He hadn't really thought about it. He didn't want to. Again, not yet.

She smiled and said,"Good..." She kissed him gently before pulling away and looking up at him. Her head was cocked slightly to the side as she smiled into his eyes. "Well, I can say that you certainly brightened my morning..." She looked at the rose she held in her hand and her smile widened, then she looked back up at him before resting her head against his chest.

"I should certainly hope that I did," Alex said. "I do try." He grinned, pulling her closer with the one arm that was now around her, the using the hand on the other to gently stroke Aimee's hair.
{OHMYGOD. Suckish. CRAPPY. TO THE MAX, DUDE. xD}

She smiled and relaxed. There was no need to break the contact or ruin the moment. The morning was beautiful, but she believed that they outshined the sunrise, even. She smiled and moved to where she was able to gently -- quickly -- kiss his neck before she rested her head once more. Her eyes slid closed, and she thought she could stay like this forever.

Alex smiled at the kiss to his neck, bright eyes closing a little as he glanced down at her. He kissed the top of her head, before planting another kiss on her forehead, one on her nose, one on her lips. To do the last he had to nudge her head up with his own, his hands refusing to leave her waist and do the job themselves.
The fingers of one hand brushed the bottom of her shirt; he couldn't help it. He wanted her. He wanted her bad.

She smiled slightly, feeling his fingers at the bottom of her shirt. She knew he wanted her. She knew that all she had to do was to tell him okay, and he would gladly take her to bed. And she didn't mind that. She wanted him, too. And she planned on both of them getting what they wanted very soon. She whispered,"Now, rules are meant to be broken, love... And I believe that now is as good a time as any to break that 'no sex in the morning' rule, don't you?" She smiled slightly.
