Sometime earlier, Liaono female dorms....
Felicia stood with her hands on her hips, frowning at the half a dozen articles of clothing that were laid out on the bed. She'd managed to narrow it down to those select few, but had come to a halt on picking the final outfit.
Hey, she wanted to look good.
Sighing, she sat down heavily on the edge of her bed, and ran her hand through her hair. She hadn't even got there, and she was already completely worn out. Felicia laughed. Oh, she was so stupid at times. Standing up again, she just randomly grabbed two pieces of clothes. Right, there, that was her outfit.
Half an hour later...
Smiling, Felicia stood before the mirror. She had picked well. She wore a white blouse, with three-quarter length sleeves. Round the sleeves, there was a little band of black satin ribbon, and the same ribbon was tied corset style down the back. Apart from that, it was plain, the top two buttons open. As well as the shirt, she wore a short simple pleated black skirt (not too short - she didn't want to look particularly slutty on the first night), and knee high black boots. Her long hair was clipped back with a silver clasp, but a few wayward strands had come loose, and fell to frame her face.
Not half bad...
Present time, standing outside of Shaded Nights...
Felicia swallowed, and rubbed her hands together. Right. She pushed open the door, and was quite surprised at how loud the music actually was. She could hear it outside, but she just thought it was poor sound proofing on the building. Looking around, she couldn't see Adam. Not knowing where to look for him, Felicia wandered over to the bar, and waited for a member of staff to come and help her.

Adam had been pretty busy that day, what with all the customers, but he was used to it by now. Him and Matt had their hands full, but it was nothing new to the duo. They had grown rather used to all of this business, and they had begun to think they just might be able to be in more than one place at once at this point, without the use of magic.
He had wondered when Felicia was going to be ready to work, but he didn't see any need in hunting her down. She would come when she was ready and not a moment before. That was fine with him. He wasn't worried about training her. He would let Matt work with her, seeing as she would be taking Matt's place as a waiter, though he would still help from time to time. She might even get bar experience on those crazier nights.
He spotted her as he was mixing drinks, and he finished mixing them, passing them out to their owners and sliding the money into his pocket. He passed out a few beers to some people, and gave one guy a butterbeer. He let one guy pay for his new firewhiskey, and then he headed her way. He stopped in front of her and smiled. "Well, glad to see you've decided you'd still like to work..."

Felicia flashed Adam a small smile, "Well, I need the money, and you need the help. Why wouldn't I show up? Anyway, what am I ment to be doing?"
Felicia looked around as she spoke, drinking in every detail of what she hoped would be her new workplace for some time. It was nice, that was for sure. She'd never been to Shaded Nights before, and she liked it on sight. The decor, the music, the layout, it all seemed so cool, and exciting. The smile playing on her lips grew.

He grinned and said,"What are you supposed to be doing? Well, you're going to be the waitress, of sorts. Basically, you just take the people's orders in the tables and booths -- there aren't that many, so it won't be too hard -- and me and Matt will man the bar. There will be nights when you'll be needed to help us behind the bar, but I'll let you know ahead of time. If the restaurant gets crazy, Matt will help you. So you're not alone." He smiled and said,"That help you any? Any more questions?"

Felicia thought about it for a moment, "Surprisingly, no, none that I can think of. I think I've got the jist of it, thank you."
She grinned nervously. Waitressing...Knowing her luck, she'd probably break every damn plate in the joint by the end of the night. But then again, it surely could be too hard to be a waitress...
Right?

He smiled and said,"Good. I'll have Matt show you the ropes, so just follow him for a bit tonight. He'll leave you to it when he thinks you're ready..." He started to leave, but then he said,"Oh, and Felicia?" He looked back at her and said,"It's not all that hard. Besides, the plates are magicked. If you drop them, the food won't spill or move and the plate won't break. We learned that lesson when me and Matt first opened it." He grinned at her And walked over to Matt to talk to him for a minute.
{{Once she responds, I'll bring Matt in and all that... ^^;;}}

Felicia could have done a little dance on the spot. Surely nothing could go horribly wrong then. She watched Adam leave to go get this Matt person, whom she'd heard so much about, but never actually met. It gave her an opportunity to think about tonight...
She ended up getting distracted by the ribbon on her right sleeve...

Matt nodded to Adam, telling him he would take care of it. He finished handing out the mixed drinks and the beers before he headed over to Felicia. He stopped in front of her and said,"Hey. You must be Felicia..." He smiled and offered his hand. "I'm Matthew Jerrolds, but call me Matt. I hate the name Matthew." He stuck out his tongue to illustrate his point. He then lifted up a section of the bar and slipped out, replacing it. "Now, you're going to be taking over for me, right? Well, follow me. There really isn't much to it..." He started for the tables, singling out a new couple who had just arrived and sat down, though he glanced behind him to make sure she was following.

Felicia laughed. He seemed like a...nice enough guy. She smirked to herself. He'd offered his hand, but was already off before she could shake it.
Quickly, and obidiently, Felicia followed Matt, paying attention to whatever it was he was saying, as it would probably have something to do with the job, and she really didn't want to screw up.
"I'm sure you'll just make it look easy," She said pleasantly with a little smile, as she couldn't think of anything else to say.

He grinned and looked back at her. "Hey, at least we got smarter after me and Adam had a little... incident... with the dishes. There was food everywhere. Carrots ended up on the dance floor, and we found onions sticking to the ceiling." He grinned at her. "I had never seen carrots in so many different places..." He shook his head, a sad look on his face, before he turned to the table as he arrived at it. "Hello, madam. Sir. What may I get you?" He checked out of the corner of his eye to make sure Felicia was following him and he wasn't going to fast for her. They placed their orders, and he jotted it down. He then turned to Felicia and said,"Come." He headed back to the bar and said,"Trust me when I say you'll get your excercise here... That and more." He grinned and said,"Just... stay out of the corners, if you can... Drunks tend to... linger there." He shook his head, hoping she got what he was trying to say.

Felicia nodded, and eyed the corners warily, "Yeah, I'll take your word for it..."
She smirked, and went back to wondering how on earth the onions managed to get on the ceiling...It must have been pretty bad for that to happen. She followed him from the table of the couple who had just ordered, and then back to the bar. She felt a little bit like a dog...

He smiled and said,"Good." He headed back to the kitchen and placed the order, coming back over to her. "Sorry it's so hectic, but it's like this every night... And this is a slow night." He smiled and said,"But don't worry. The restaurant is less hectic than the bar. The only reason I'm in such a hurry is because I still have to help with the bar..." He looked around and said,"Um. You can help behind here if you'd like until someone needs us. There are little lights behind the bar that signal each table. If they mention needing something, or if their drinks get low, it will flash. It's set up the same way the tables are, so just go to the table that has the flashing light. If you press the button, it will tell you what they need." He grinned and said,"A helpful little invention..." He grabbed a few beers for orders and said,"If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. That's what we're here for." He smiled and hurried off to fill up the thirsty drunks.

Felicia nodded in understanding, more to herself, as Matt had left already to go serve customers. She glanced at the lights. So far, none of them were flashing, but she had a feeling that it wouldn't stay like that for long...
